Description
Contemporary Toorak Duplex

Welcome to Toorak

Toorak is a suburb of Melbourne, Australia, 5 km south-east from Melbourne's CBD.

The name Toorak has been synonymous with wealth and privilege since it was originally developed during the 1880's Gold Rush, the suburb long having the reputation of being Melbourne's most elite, and ranking among the most prestigious in Australia. It has the highest average property values in Melbourne, and is one of the most expensive suburbs in Australia. It is also listed as the "highest money-earning suburb" in the country.

Toorak has a mix of lot sizes and architectural styles, due to the continual subdivision of most of the very large original lots, and renewal of housing stock. This particular duplex was designed by leading Melbourne architect, Nicholas Day.

I hope to bring to Cities Skylines, a collection of high end, low density homes, inspired by the architecture found in and around Toorak. Max 32 x 32 metre lots in Cities Skylines is fairly limiting, so I wont be able to build anything too lavish.

Im a noob at 3d modelling, so any constructive feedback would be welcome.

No problem @stevieb. Keep it up. I personally don't use RICO but add the file in case others do. Its not an arduous process. See this guide for details. Its a basic file. The trick is to copy it into the content folder of the asset before you publish.

Thanks for your feedback guys! The whole process was a steep learning curve, and Im now working on a second upload much quicker - should be ready in a few days. Cheeki, I dont know how to do RICO yet, but I will learn and upload RICO's in the future.

Looks good, just like what the yuppies would own.

Have you considered setting RICO settings in the asset?
