Thanks for the quick response anyway, and of course for the mod! I was actually considering renaming every town/factory name manually... on a large map... ;)
I read that sometimes you need to reload a saved game and reactivate the mods to make them work, but I wonder how that would apply here?... (btw, I still tried: no dice). Anyway, congrats on the mod, I can see from the namelist that it's just what's needed: generic, yet flavorful. Hope I manage to make it work :)
Hate making a new map with Miami and pittsburgh right next to each other ..... in the US mid west
Thanks
But seriously, when you subscribe to the mod, you can open the towns.lua file in:
Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\446800\809204230\config\name2\usa\en\towns.lua
and see all 276 town names.
... and/or, as an alternative you can either add those names into the mod's towns.lua file yourself, or open the game's towns.lua file located here:
Steam\steamapps\common\Transport Fever\res\config\name2\usa\en\
... and create a custom name list for Towns in Arkansa, or Missouri, or that specific region if you want to. (LUA files can be opened with Notepad, or my favorite Notepad++)
Town and Street name mods are really easy to alter and make. I hope that helps.
