HC-9 Star Vampire

Developed by the Hssiss Confederation, the Star Vampire is a scram-jet strike bomber, suited for long engagements and distant voyages. Armed with a quad-laser battery and a trio of plasma mortars, the Star Vampire pummels ships' armor and internal systems with ease. To better facilitate combat against faster targets, the Star Vampire comes equipped with a homing missile system.

Its Tritanium armor plating helps keep it protected during its runs, with the cockpit being the least armored location. It comes with a series of fail-safe engines to keep it on the offensive if a hostile craft makes contact with the primary jet engine.

While longer than the Hssiss Confederation's Leech, the Star Vampire is able to be piloted by a single occupant as all the components have a centralized relay.
