Purpose of this Guide

Apparently CS:GO ranks are very important and vital for the well being of the lonely people of the Internet... Or maybe it just represents your skill level within CS:GO compared to the other players who play competitively in the world.

This is a big deal for a lot of folks. It seems as though if you are a no rank or Silver I, you are terrible and have no business playing this game ever again. However, once you reach Global Elite as I did, you become known as a hacker and every game that you participate in will be reported and reviewed by the Valve team.

But shouldn't there be a magic rank where you show that you have some skill to no longer be grouped with those pathetic no ranks, but also be low enough to have your elite headshots not be counted as hacks!?

, The elusive Silver III rank is the most desired rank due to its amazing ability in resolving these painful issues. Know a friend who is a Silver III? Probably not unless you are friends with me or someone who has read my guide. However this guide will help you go from just wishing to be a Silver III to actually showing off your Silver III rank to all of your friends.

Secret Tips To Get Silver III Status

The first step is always the most crucial step when doing most things in life. Honing your skills is probably the first step in progressing in most things but this little strategy will completely destroy your chances at obtaining a Silver III rank. Crazy right!?

Here are some helpful tips on how to obtain the Silver III Rank:

1. Starting easy here, buy/install the game.
2. Setup your audio settings so that you can easily hear footsteps like a pro.
3. Change your crosshairs from Dynamic to Default Static (It is better to believe that your bullets will hit something when you are running around like an idiot spraying with that rifle).
4. Grab some friends who are very high ranked to help show you the ropes...

***Now here comes the secret sauce ways to achieving Silver III status:

1. Start your first time playing the game ever with a competitive match bringing along your high ranking friends.
2. Make sure that your said friends use only CS:GO lingo such as "They are lit, head over the CT Spawn stat!!!" even though you will have no idea what this means.
3. Cut that cord! Play competitive mode using wireless Internet. This I found really helps with the rating system in preventing you from hopping directly to Global Elite.
4. Start listening to the terrible advice from random teammates playing with you who believe that the louder and more obnixious they yell, the more people will listen to them.
5. Try changing out your mouse and sensitivity about halfway to your 10 competitive wins. Remember to test out the sensitivity during the competitive matches. Practicing on bots to familiarize yourself with the new settings may again cause your skill to go back to Global Elite which is NOT the ultimate goal.
