Description
Screenshots taken with Daylight Classic on

A cargo train station which fits perfectly into my modular distribution center. It's rotated 90 degrees compared to the default one and functions as a terminus, but the track can be extended in both directions if you wish, though some sort of road anarchy mod is needed if it needs to cross a road.

It uses both tracks and works like it should, though I could not get the trucks to line up properly with the loading bays. It's a bit silly they drive into the building anyways, but I figure it's a small detail which can be ignored. :)

@Fabianz: They should drive into it like in the video. If you use MoveIt on the building, you likely break the invisible paths inside the building, which would cause weird behaviours.

Why the trucks that want to go here get swallowed by the road? or is it only me?

@Phoenix C64: Yeah, it's by road. They'd need to be one building to transfer between storage and cargo station.

thx for your answer anyhow :) correct me if i am wrong, but if i plop several of your modular buildings together with the cargo one, the transfer of goods still happens by road, right? or can it be transfer internally without trucks on the road?

@Phoenix C64: It's possible to do, but it will likely require a mod to work properly and isn't something I'm planning to make at the moment.

Heya,
this is one of my favourite assets ever, I use it in all my cities...

now I am looking to find something like this, but that has an actual functional warehouse aswell.

would it be possible to create something like this? Would you be willing to make it?

As a workaround i did delete the tracks with moveit and then draw a non-catanery track over it. Havent tested yet if the station still works.

@Hightower: Yeah, I've noticed that. No idea why or what to do about that. I guesss the station track is intended to be connected on both ends.

Like it a lot.
But one thing that drives me nuts is that it does not draw the steel structure of the catanery - the cable is free-hanging in my game :-(

@Kяowmax: Nothing I can do about that. It isn't the station, it's the default trains behavior.
