"Blank Slate" Mafia 3 Save Files

Summary

Here are some save files I made so that I could go back and do the "Just You and Me" achievement later on without having to replay the whole game again. It takes place shortly after you finish setting up Vito, Burke, and Cassandra's home turf. I've damaged both opportunities in all 3 districts directly after "The Sit Down" but have not confronted any of the bosses so you're able to go in yourself and choose who you want to rule each one. I have not purchased any upgrades and have a little over 225k in my bank. I've flipped every informant and racket boss up to that point as well.

I'm creating this guide for anyone who wants to do the same as me but also for anyone who has corrupted saves.

The save files are in a hidden folder titled "appdata" under your username directory. Mine looks like this: C:>Users>YourUserName>AppData>Local>2k Games>Mafia III>Data>String of Numbers>gamesaves>default>aslot

Cake I can't thank you enough for this. I legit was on almost done with the game with only like 3 missions in between when my game crashed and deleted all my files. Now although you're half way I rather have this than restarting..thank you so much seriously! I had 118 hours of play so I almost cried lol

I do not, the current one I have is my second playthrough so I could get a few of the ones you mentioned but I stopped right after I got them in my game. As far as i know, they're not retroactive and it wouldn't do anyone any good for me to upload these as well. Unless someone wanted to get "Big Earner", I think that's the only one my current save would work for.

Hi, i want to know if you have other savegame files besides of this? I have 3 achievements left! (The New Boss, No Loose Ends and Can't Trust a Rat). I can't get them, i had been trying to reach them but not luck for me :(. Thanks in advance!

thanks for your reply. i originally loaded the files from a week ago but when i tried loading them from a month ago (since my norton ghost program can go back that far) it worked and everything is good now. thanks again for explaining everything and helping, its appreciated.

Not sure, but the game uses three autosaves but only loads from the most recent, try swapping the file names around to see if you can load one of the other two save files that the game isn't loading.

hi, I understand the saved games are located in the aslot folder. so I accidentally restarted mafia 3 from scratch when the dlc came out yesterday and it wont allow me to play the dlc until I assemble my crew but I don't want to play the game again, I just want to play the dlc. so I used my Norton ghost program and fetched the files from a week ago (before I accidentally restarted my game yesterday) and inserted those old files in the aslot folder but when I went to play the game it still started as new and it shouldn't have since those files were from a week ago when I had completed the game and not restarted it yet?? but when I downloaded your 3 save files from the link you provided and put them in my aslot folder it did work?? so why would yours work but mine from a week ago not? I would prefer to use my own save files if possible but I just dont understand why mine wont work and yours do? thanks.

nice but autosave/checkpoint doesnt work any more gave vito downtown and the checkpoint icon played off and i go to last checkpoint and i goes back to barclay mills

I don't have a save where I've flipped all of the bosses, I replayed the game and went through killing all of them so I could get those achievements. Didn't save my first playthrough.
