Description
UPDATE 9-10-18:
Five major version changes, and countless smaller ones. Nearly two years of waiting. At long last, the time has come.
Angelspire has been restored to its former glory, and then some! Texture, color, and lighting adjustments have been made throughout the building, as well as some minor aesthetic changes. The original 'Spire stands proud and gleaming gold once more!

The best architecture is built into the environment - buildings that move and flow with the landscape. But sometimes you want something that stands out. Something that towers high and gleaming, and says "Here I am. Look at me. Bask in my glory."

KRS Modworks proudly presents "Angelspire" : For all your basking needs.

Featuring all the amenities, this white-gold tower has everything you need to live a life of luxury on any world.
-Open garage for a small HV*
-Outdoor deck space for multiple small- to mid-size SVs
-Carefully-planned interior, simple and intuitive to navigate!**
-Generator room with 6x T2 fuel tanks
-Armor Locker is also located here
-Constructor room, 2x Large Constructor***, 4x Cargo Box
-Two-level greenhouse, 18x growing plots
-Fully furnished kitchen, 4x Fridge, 2x Food Processor
-ATM (on 2nd floor near elevator)
-Recovery room with Medic Station and O² Station, 3x O² Tank
-Upper floors are private bathroom / bedroom (because even in a glass house, sometimes you want privacy)
-Built primarily from basic Steel, for reduced crafting time.

*Tested with the KHV-2 Harvester - large HVs are likely to get stuck.

**While the elevator can access any floor, foot-pathing within the building was considered carefully in the design. Players landing SVs on the outside decks will descend through Medical for O² / HP recovery, kitchen is right beside it for nutritional needs. Kitchen leads right into growing area for simple harvesting / storage. Constructor area links with growing and generator rooms. Elevator access is next to garage entry, for returning HV pilots.

***Constructors are "Large" by default to eliminate the need for exotic Erestrum / Zacosium ores. These are easily replaced by Advanced models, if you've got the ore or power coils. Likewise, it is recommended to upgrade the fuel tanks to T3 at the earliest opportunity.

Thanks. I appreciate your help. I wouldn't dream of messing with the outside appearance of the base I love it just the way it is. And, yes, I will be placing the solar panels outside of the base,

Angelspire hasn't been updated for a while, but no major changes should be needed.
-Storage containers are all the old stuff, limited, so if you want to add modular, I'd recommend installing them as floor replacements, under the constructors.
-There's not really a good spot to add solar panels, unless you use the "connect to base" feature and build a small addon for them. That's more to do with the exterior angles and design.
-I'm sure you can find space for a shield gen, but might need to rearrange the internal floor plan a bit. A fair amount of the interior is open space / deco, which is good looks and sub-optimal functionality.

Love the design. Thinking of putting it on a tundra planet just like is shown on the picture. What will I need update the blueprint? I am thinking adding a shield generator and perhaps solar capacitors. Is there room?

7.0 Update:
Some texture adjustments, to take advantage of new shiny surfaces. Still can't recapture that beautiful gold it had originally, but maybe someday...
Devices altered as follows:
-Fridges have been downgraded to T1.
-Repair Station has been removed.

This was done to remove 'exotic' and late-game ores from the material requirements, so that Angelspire can remain as a lvl10 / 'mid-game' base. I apologize for any inconvenience.

UPDATED! 6.6-compliant, all the good stuff, airtight and fully oxygenated.

She's still defenseless, as there simply isn't anywhere decent to place turrets, but that's easy to solve with the 'connect to base' feature in the build menu. I leave it to you homeowners to determine the best locations for firepower.

Looks gorgeous, but realized it's not an ideal first base with no turrets. But will definitely be Base #2 if I know I'm safe :)

@dawngael, I haven't updated this place since before 5.0 - it's not airtight and has no ventilation system. You'll have to replace the doors with 'solid' airtight versions and put O2 vents in for it to work with the 6.X survival changes.
