Metagame is around taking down towers fast which allows everyone to get tons of gold, and allowes carries to complete their core really fast and destroy everyone in a teambattle. So just like 2-3 years ago, only the games last a lot shorter. Underlord is mainly picked for his pushing and turtling power and ability to farm huge amounts of gold in the process. He can be played as a semi carry with enough farm but he\\\\\\\'s usually better off buying tanking and big supportive items. He is currently a mid tier hero.
