Defeating Sorcerer, Assault on Dragon Keep
By Frontier
This guide will (most likely) help you defeat the final boss at the end of the Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep dlc WARNING: If you don’t have this dlc or finished it then please don’t read on, I don’t want to spoil anything. I think I've found a glitch that helps me defeat the final stage of the Sorcerer fight, because I tried to defeat him legitimately with a lvl 56 Commando which was basically impossible and would've NEVER killed him, that's why I started experimenting and by chance, I figured it out. Although I literally just defeated him right before I started typing this guide, that means I have only done this glitch once so comment if it doesn't work. After all, this is my very first guide.

Defeating the Sorcerer Boss (All 3 stages)
Ok, here's what I used:

Shield: Bee and high cap pangolin shield

Guns: Deft Lascaux and the Nukem

Relic: Terramorphous relic

Grenades: Tesla Area of Effect Grenade

Character and Skill: Commando, Guerilla and Survival Skill Trees

Getting Gear:

The best way to get a high lvl Bee shield on UVHM is to farm treants and fairies in the Forest area in Tina's dlc. I got it on my first save and quit and then continuing. I would suggest not trying to also kill the blood fruit treants at the end of the map because the orcs can get a bit annoying along the way. The pangolin is just a suggestion but it can take a lot of damage so that's why I switched between the two.
To get the best lvl of the Deft Lascaux, (which is the most powerful SMG for its lvl in my opinion), you have to get to Frost Burn Canyon on UVHM. The location of this gun is pretty easy to find, just find the second bloodshot sign, enter the cavern and explore the side path on the left, until you see a blue rarity loot beam coming from a pool of water. The Deft Lascaux shoots a little to the right and left but not in the middle. The Nukem on the other hand, I bought with torgue tokens and that's a different dlc, so I would suggest finding the highest damage rocket launcher you can with the explosive element, if you can’t obtain it. If you do have the Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage dlc, you can purchase it from the torgue vending machine in the Forge area in TVHM with torgue tokens of course.
Now, to get the Terramorphous Relic will be a bit tricky if you don't already have it, I got a commando relic on TVHM. The best way to defeat him with the Commando solo is to use the rock method, (just look up Terramorphous safe spot), remember to use your turrets as decoys.
The absolutely recommended grenade for this fight is the Tesla area of effect grenade, I’ll explain why in the combat section, just keep on the lookout for a high lvl tesla as you play.

Ok now for the action!
Most people don’t have that much of a problem getting past the first 2 stages of the sorcerer but I’ll explain a few strategies I used for them first. Oh, and take a lot of eridium to the fight you’ll need to use the ammo shrines!
The only thing that’s tricky for his first stage is his shield. How I got past his shield, is when he starts to form his four clones, I throw one tesla grenade straight at him and deploy my turrets. The tesla takes out all of his clones, (maybe one left over but with low health), and as soon as their gone the turrets have to be close enough to the Sorcerer to divert his attention to them. That’s all the time you need to switch to your Lascaux and Bee the rest of his shield down and then reach his health bar. This will take a few times, and of course, he’ll regenerate his shield but when he does, switch to pangolin and jump around until he clones again. Before this fight, try increasing your ammo for SMGs, rocket launchers, and grenades, it helps a lot.
The second stage is pretty easy, dodge and don’t get hit, until you can deploy your turrets, switch to Bee shield, and if you want, throw some grenades, although I’m still not sure what his element weakness is on his second stage. There may be a stray skeleton that tries to murder you when you’re trying to focus on the distracted Necromancer, but he can be killed quickly.
Here’s the hardest, and pretty much impossible UVHM fight. As soon as he reaches his third Demon stage he’s going to be using fire, (duh), so If you have a high lvl fire resistant shield I would use it, although I couldn’t find one and didn’t use one. Only switch to the Bee when he’s distracted by your turrets. You don’t need to worry about his baby dragons as much because they get stuck all around the map, just keep your distance. Everything goes well until he spawns his silly red dragon who kills you with one fire breath if you have the Bee and severely damages you if you have a pangolin and the second time it comes your shield hasn’t regenerated yet :( , it’s only spawned at the Sorcerer’s one third or half health mark. Now, here’s how I got past that dragon, (if you aren’t lucky enough to kill it before it kills you), When you respawn down at the portal, try and shoot the red dragon high above you so that it tries to get to you. It tries to dive but it can’t reach you. It’s fireballs do though, so dodge and see if you can kill it from there, or you can let it kill you, (that’s what I did), and when you respawn go straight to the teleporter and, if you’re lucky, the dragon will be stuck and can’t move at the side of the arena. You can see it’s red dot at the side of the radar. The rest is easy, stick to the pangolin and bee switches and distracto turrets, and you should have him defeated in no time, (just kidding, it took me 45 minutes to defeat the whole boss, not to mention the times he push me off the tower).
Thanks a lot guys! Hope this helps, and remember, you don’t have to copy my equipment, skill, or character to win this fight, and I myself even find it tiresome to gather recommended gear for a boss battle someone else made a guide for, just experiment and have fun! Even if you die a lot.
