How to properly make a vault outside off vault 88 [Tutorial & Example]

Sure thing. I'm starting a new character so may take a bit to get to the Coastal Cottage.
I do still have saves for an old character so maybe i'll use that one...if you want the screen sooner. :)

Yeah, I was thinking of maybe a sort of Vault-tech tower. I like the area in general but it does have a few items that can't be cleared, outside of using mods.

@LairosTall Coastal Cottage is possible. But it's kinda small, unless you'll build upwards.
Then it might be a great spot for it.
But you know, just start building and just see how much space you've got to make something.
Otherwise just make it small or less rooms.

There are level and quest requirements for that dlc, if you visited Vault88/got the radio signal for it, then you have the min-level. Like the author here said, pretty much, finishing the story for the dlc will give you the quest requirements for any related builds. Its just a matter of collecting the paper/schem and having certain perks.
Small question for the author of this guide. Would you consider the Coastal Cottage an ok location for a above ground vault, or is the available space too small?
