Odd, the lightbridge solution was the first one to occur to me once I saw that you could shoot a portal all the way back into the first room when the fizzler was down . Might have something to do with having been through some of Mevious's maps that made similar (though more extensive/complicated) use of lightbridges.

I would like to confirm as well that you are not stuck if you jump down in the last pit, even if you've fizzled your portals somehow. While standing on the lightbridge's natural surface (i.e. it not being portaled anywhere else), you can jump and see another portalable surface out of the pit, behind you. And the portalable surface the lightbridge shoots against goes all the way to ground level, so you can easily get back up there.

Didn't use a lightbridge either, I was stuck looking for how to use the bridge but then I saw a simple solution without the bridge.

Thanks for your comment. I'll see if I can fix method you used to get past without the bridge.
If you fall in the last pit, you should be able to fire a portal into the previous room through the grating.

Good map! Made me think about that cube at the end, quite an Aha! moment. I don't think I used the light bridge at all and I think it is possible to get stuck if you jump in the last pit with no preparation.
