Terminus Total War - Rebellion

解説
Hello everyone, the Terminus Total War Mod Team is proud to present our latest effort to provide a great alternate history campaign for Total War Attila. First and foremost this mod requires the Last Roman DLC but, oddly enough, it is not compatible with that DLC if you are playing the Last Roman Campaign.

THIS MOD IS FOR THE MAIN CAMPAIGN ONLY!

This mod has the following features:

- New and unique Roman Faction with unique buildings, generals, faction leaders, and flag

- War weariness and Kingdom creation scripts from the Age of Charlemagne DLC

- Missions, events, and victory objectives

- Unique family tree

- Conquer Italy and your faction will be renamed to the Roman Empire

- Unit pack with unique elite units : http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=710891280

Summary:
The basic idea behind the mod is that you start as a rebelling Roman General and his family with the flexibility to create your own empire wherever you may choose because you start in Expedition mode with Roman Camp buildings from the Last Roman DLC.

You start at war with the Roman Empire, you are located north of the Alps and you are surrounded by barbarians to your north and Romans to the south. You have a somewhat advanced army to counterbalance your precarious situation at the start.

Your mission is to retake all of Italy and you will be proclaimed the new Roman Empire. Your true capitol is the city of Roma so no matter where you start, when you take Roma THAT will then be your capitol.

The start is challenging and will take some skill in diplomacy as well as superb battle tactics and strategies. My suggestion is for you to make friends with Romes enemies very quickly, or you might need to move quickly out of their reach.

Q and A:
Q: Why doesnt this work with the Last Roman Campaign?
A: Because we used alot of the material from that DLC which therefore disables that material in the DLC itself. You will need to turn the mod OFF to play the Last Roman DLC.

Q: Where are the new units?
A: In a seperate mod pack that you will need to download. We did this because they will only balanced for the vanilla version of the game and will not be compatible with some of the overhauls some people like to use.

Credits:

Maliskrieg for his work on the scripting

Noif for his Western and Eastern Roman emblems

This mod is still in Beta and there may be yet undiscovered bugs and future changes to be made. Feel free to leave your thoughts and suggestions.

Possibly another custom playable faction in the works for a later update.

Dont forget to Rate Up and Favorite if you like this mod :)

Enjoy!

I have no idea how on **earth** this happened. Is this mod meant for the vanilla grand campaign? If so, why is it labelled like the other Terminus mods? Why is it not specified in the description (all it says is "for the main campaign", which can be taken as meaning the Terminus mod's campaign) that it is solely meant to be used for vanilla? I thought this would allow for playing as a revolt in Terminus.

I switched load orders, changed and deleted mods, turned off every mod that WASN'T a Terminus mod (the only other two running were the Medieval Combat system mod and the TAGMA mod) and I was hit with the same bugs: Friendly Roman Empire, buildings missing names, and nonexistent military infrastructure. Even more bizarre, their units show up as available in Custom Battles... With the symbol of a bull. I decided to take a look at the main mod page and, sure enough, the Province of Germania has a Bull flag. Even worse, unsubbing and outright deleting this mod from my drive still labels the Province of Germania as the Roman Rebellion. I may have to uninstall and reinstall Attila just to fix this.

Sadly this mod is broken, so far as I can tell. I went in to start and not only do most of the buildings not have names, the building chains relating to military recruitment and upgrades are completely nonexistent. I have the required unit mod so that's not the issue here.

Not only this, but I am at... Peace with the Roman Empire below me. What? I'll check things tomorrow to see if something else is afoot.

@Sean how did you get the military buildings to show up? Any other mods running?

Highest level siege workshop gives recruitment of light ships instead of large onager lol

I think the Imperial Guard are unrecruitable

Love how city unit recruitment is one building line. That way, I can pick military capitals, give them the recruitment building and all three military infrastructure buildings to produce armies
