1. Seriously decrease the size of the map if you are set on only having 4 civilizations play.
2. Perhaps instead of grinding your finger into dust via clicking, you could spawn some barbarian encampments to do the work for you.
3. You know what fuck this I think I just wasted 45 minutes of my time writing a wall of text that nobody will ever read, nor care about, nor even look at. Kids, this is why you should never speak your opinions. THIS IS WHAT IT DOES TO YOU
ahem sorry you know what just put on your thinking cap and think of ways to fix this yourself
-Sincerely, "Fuck this shit im out"
It is a barren wasteland , with only a couple of forests, hills, and custom houses to keep you company on perhaps only 40% of the island you started on. Adding to this, the map feels WAY bigger than it needs to be . I realized this after I toggled "reveal all" in the IGE controls. Maybe cut the map in half and make that the area for the map.
To me, it feels like you thought of a cool, interesting idea for a map you wanted to create, decided it would spice things up to only have 4 civilizations on a ridiculously oversized map consisting of: 90% flat grassland, 5% mountains/water, 4% ancient ruins, and 1% "other", and then topped it all off by hosting "Click Fest:2016" by spawning an unnecessary number of barbarians to the point that my game lagged itself to death and then crashed shortly after I revealed the map using IGE.
This is one of the shittiest maps I have ever played. When I try to start a game with it, in the advanced setup, the "resources" tab where you can select legendary start is not avaliable(Due to the fact that the game isn't going to generate resource tiles for you, unless you put them there yourself(or create a custom script to do resource generation for you)), and that is only the tip of the iceberg for all the issues your mod has.
I played a game for around an hour as Japan after I had selected "Load Scenario" for the map, thinking that your mod would automatically use legendary start as a default setting(seeing as how the option was unavailable in the advanced setup). When I loaded in, I spawned on a small square island with 4 customs houses prebuilt, and I settled the areas around them. After I explored the entire island, I realized the crucial fuck-up you made in desiging this map:
