Recreation of the Escort map Gibraltar from Overwatch.


It is currently in alpha, as it is 100% playable and works exactly like its OW counterpart, but lacks an artpass. Some areas might need restructuring for balance

Why is Watchpoint Gibraltar in OW has the Overwatch flag when Gibraltar is owned by the United Kingdom?

I assume about 50% of art pass on this map is already done. No new models would be required since the plan is to make it have TF2 aesthetics (so TF2 models & textures only).
Hopefully it will be done soon. Maybe in time for Smissmas or early 2018. I don't know.

The payload is stalled until the doors open, then it continues normally.

At the second point you capture it stops the payload for me- Is that just something on my end, or..?

Ah, I see. So it will have TF2 art style (textures, props/decorations and lighting) and won't be visually similar. Only similar in its layout.
Can't wait for the finished version. It's gonna be cool.

I don't do models. I use only what is already available in TF2.

I assume the artpass for this would require creating some custom prop models. Are you also doing that by yourself? And if you are, are you gonna release them for other map makers to use?
