20 x 20 km of sand dunes and rocky mountains.

There are intentionaly no road, as AI tends to stick to them, and it would make vehicle patrols of the kind the LRDG used to do less intersting. Also it's a greater challenge for land navigation, especialy if you forfeight the GPS gadget.

You’ll notice the vegetation is quite dense for the desert, but given the AI’s inability to fight in open terrain, it’s necessary for gameplay purposes.

This addon requires CUP terrains to provide Arma 2 objects.

Definitely one of my favorite desert maps - if this map had a lot more towns and dirt roads it would be really brilliant. As it is now - it's a difficult map to port to Liberation without having to drop down entire towns etc.and that creates FPS issues unless you convert everything to simple or super simple objects.

I love this map, expecially after removing all vegetation with the "Hide" module!

@Blitzkrieg762, You can remove them yourself via the Eden editor, i dont remember the exact name of the module but type in "Hide" and it should be the first one.

You can change the parameters to make the "hide" are larger and exclude stuff like vegetation.

Can you make a seperate version without the airfields, oilfields, and modern structures in general? This would be a great map to pair with the Stargate mod.
