Description
Update!
- Disarm Protocol now shouldn't break concealment
- Flash Round also shouldn't break concealment
- My mistake on the detection radius, instead of -5, it now reduces detection radius by 50%.

Introduction
Hi! I'm back with another class. This will likely be my last class mod for XCOM for quite a while (Unless I'm super bored). So I will try to make this last class... well, as useful as possible. If anyone has played EW, you'll have heard of this achievement called Lone Wolf where you try to clear a UFO crash site with only ONE soldier above Classic difficulty. It certainly is a pretty difficult mission especially if you're not prepared. I got the achievement with a Non-squadsight Sniper, so I decided to base this class with a Sharpshooter in mind.

Class Introduction
Like mentioned earlier, the main goal of this class is to provide you with abilities that IN THEORY allows you clear an entire mission with just one soldier GIVEN infinite turns (And Time) and careful maneuvers. There are two branches, Firepower and Shadow. Depending on how you build your Lone Wolf, you can have them specialize in destructive firepower OR a weaker, but stealthier unit. I have some build recommendations below that you can read.

Squaddie:
Ghost Round - Allows you to fire from the shadows, you will not lose concealment and you can fire even after movement. BUT Squadsight will NOT apply and you'll deal reduced damage. 2 Turn cooldown.

Phantom - Because it makes no sense for them to lose concealment with the squad.

Squadsight & Long Watch from Vanilla Sharpshooter

Corporal:
Blind Round - Reduces target's aim by 25 for two turns. You will lose concealment if you fire this bullet. Squadsight does not apply, you can use Blind Round even after movement. 4 turn cooldown

Disarm Protocol - You can use your little GREMLIN to disable a target's weapon of your choice. Does not break concealment. 3 Turn cooldown.

Sergeant:
Flash Round - Acts like a Flashbang except it has a lot less coverage. You'll disorient all targets in radius and get to keep your concealment if you're in one. 3 uses only, 5 turns cooldown.

Shadow Protocol - Increases your Dodge by 30, boosts your Mobility by 3 and reduces Concealment Detection Radius by 50%, allowing you to stay in concealment for longer periods. Effects of Shadow Protocol lasts for 3 turns. 4 Turn Cooldown. Can only be applied on yourself.

Lieutenant:
Cover Exploit - Lone Wolf learns how to mitigate the effects of Cover through clever angling. Low Cover's effectiveness is reduced by 5 and High Cover's effectiveness is reduced by 10 for the opponent. Passive

Low Presence - A 'lesser' concealment. Grants you concealment for 2 turns only. You'll break concealment if you move at all. A free action, 5 turn cooldown. (Allows you to combo certain abilities)

Here comes the 'choose your path' section. Do you want to go in loud? Or do you prefer to go in quiet?

Captain:
Death Blossom - An extremely destructive attack that is able to destroy everything in the target radius and raze it to the ground with fire. Use with caution. 1 time use only. Breaks concealment, cannot use after moving.

Bullet: OverEdge - A reference to a 'certain' show. Through combat experience you've learned how to reinforce your bullets. All shots will gain +2 Damage and +2 Shred regardless of your weapon tier. Passive.

Major:
Kaleidoscope - Rain shrapnels at your opponent. An extremely weak AOE attack, but guaranteed to deal Bleeding - Note: Not Bleed Out. Bleeding deals 1-3 damage over 3 turns. 6 turn cooldown, cannot use after moving, breaks concealment.

Target Assessment: - Analyze your opponent's weakpoints. All targets analyzed will be marked, granting you additional +15 aim and Ruptured for 2 damage. 3 time use only, does not break concealment.

Colonel:
Lone Fury - Grants you +40 aim bonus, +25 defense bonus, +5 mobility bonus and +100 will bonus for 3 turns. You will break concealment. Free action, 1 time use only.

Ghost Protocol - Grants you immediate concealment. Allows you to travel past walls and ability to skip past overwatches for 3 turns. Free action, 1 time use only. Great if you're running out of turns and need to rush to your objective. Combo with Shadow Protocol for reduced detection.

GTS Ability:
Lone Survivor - Having survived alone for a decade running from Advent, they've developed the necessary skills for surviving alone in the wild. All Lone Wolves will gain minor bonuses to defense, will, dodge, armor and recovery.

Some Build recommendation

If your preference is offense...
Uses: Offensive Lone Wolves, coupled with their amazing aim are great at dishing out damage and perfect if you want to keep battles as short as possible. However, their amazing offense is only good for short term time based missions due to their lengthy cooldowns and limited uses.

Skills:
- Blind Round
- Flash Round
- Low Presence (For Chaining Ghost Round + Something else for high damage output)
- Death Blossom/Bullet: OverEdge (Your preference)
- Kaleidoscope
- Lone Fury

If your preference is stealth...
Uses: Stealthy Lone Wolves are great for soloing a mission OR rushing mission objectives (Unfortunately you can't rush if you plan on being stealthy). You'll rely heavily on Ghost Round as your main attacking ability to keep your concealment.

Skills:
- Disarm Protocol - Does not remove concealment
- Shadow Protocol (To get more mobility and lower detection radius to maneuver around enemies)
- Cover Exploit - Unless you intend on losing concealment at some point of time, Cover Exploit should be your best choice.
- Bullet: OverEdge - Overcome the low damage of Ghost Round.
- Target Assessment - Reason similar to above, but it also grants more aim as well.
- Ghost Protocol - Pressed for time? Activate Shadow Protocol and Ghost Protocol! You can easily rush to your mission objective within 2 turns (Cos shadow protocol) if you're near without fear of death/being detected.

If your preference is mixed...
Uses: This build is mainly for those who only want to bring one Lone Wolf and wants them to have the widest coverage instead of specializing. This kind of build gives you more options and versatility on how you want to play your Lone Wolf depending on the mission type (Especially if you installed - Additional Missions mod).

Skills:
- Blind Round (Overall more useful than Disarm Protocol)
- Shadow Protocol (Overall better because it has a low cooldown and no limited uses, allows you to move further as well.)
- Cover Exploit/Low Presence (Depending on which you prefer more, even more aim or chaining abilities (Ghost Round + Something else) - I personally lean towards Low Presence because sharpshooters have ridiculous aim in the first place anyway.)
- Bullet: OverEdge (Definitely better for long term battles)
- Kaleidoscope (For the AOE DOT effect and no limited uses, despite low damage, you can mitigate a little with Bullet: OverEdge)
- Lone Fury (Ghost Protocol's usage is quite situational and usually most useful for rushing timed mission objectives. In terms of usefulness and application, Lone Fury definitely gives you more edge over Ghost Protocol.)

Hope you'll enjoy this class!

I really hope you can remake this mod for Wotc. Yes the Reaper is nice and all, but I miss being able to use ghost rounds without alerting the enemy to my possition.

I don't really have time for that at the moment unfortunately.
Also, it would seem like the Reapers from War of the Chosen would easily replace this class once it comes out.

I don't believe so if my memory serves me right.
After all, they aren't hackers by nature.

Can you hack things with the gremlin? It seems like I am not able to do it for some reason at range.

I'm digging the class, even if I'm not ready to send in my guy all by his lonesome.

Though I was wondering if you were ever thinking about creating a custom icon for this class. Not that you have to, it's just tough when I'm managing squads and have to remember which Sharpshooter icon is for the Sharpshooters and which one's for the Lone Wolf.
