Description
Mod that adds Orre, lead by Miror B, as a Civilization to the game. Orre features a completely new ability, as well as a brand new unit and a new building. Orre is both player and AI playable. Orre has powerful military, as well as a building that aids military growth. Orre is excellent when going for a domination victory.

Version: beta-3.0
- Pokemon Colosseum now gives +15 XP, up from 10 XP.

Ability
(Shadow Troops) Units are 25% stronger, but do not gain XP from combat.

Unit
(Rider) Replaces the Knight. This unit can gain defensive buffs, unlike the Knight. It also has one extra movement point.

Building
(Pokemon Colosseum) Replaces the Colosseum. Alongside the regular benefits of a Colosseum, it also provides +10 XP to Units trained in the City.

will you be doing the current region as civ mod?

A version With Greevil as the leader would be nice.

If this doesn't include his theme music then this mod shouldn't exist.
Just sayin'.

Okay so this mod is really good and fun to play BUT there is one fatal flaw. The start screen notes that Miror B. leads Cipher into glory in the Orre Region however it is specifically stated in Pokemon XD Miror B. has left Cipher and forms his own team, Team Miror (The best team) with Trudley and Folley to own all the Pokemon in the world. So in order to maintain historical accuracy I strongly urge you to fix this error. As well as the fact that Cipher is NOWHERE NEAR as gorgeously elegant as Miror B. I hope you will take this information and recify the situation. Thanks to the highest degrees.

Sincerely,

rridd It would be kind of boring to have civs either buffed into oblivion or given tame buffs to make things "balanced".

Not gaining XP from combat actually cripples a military civ. I agree about the earn XP 50% slower suggestion, not that I do Domination Victories all that often.

Thanks for the feedback. I like the first idea, and we'll probably make that change. The third idea is already in effect since all units have a special promotion for the UA. We'll probably pass on the 2nd idea unless Orre feels weak even after the planned UB change.
Barracks and colosseum come early, so after the changes that would be 2 promotions for units early on, and later if you get Alhambra, you can get 25% stronger march-promoted units. We'll leave it at that for now and see if it needs changes after more play-testing.

Just some ideas:
1. Pokemon Colosseum gives +15 XP instead of +10 XP so newly built units have 60 XP and thus gain 3rd promotion in cities with all 3 regular military buildings (barracks, armory, military academy)
2. Not gaining XP from combat is a pretty big disadvantage since you can't get new promotions, especially in the early game with only the barracks available. Maybe change to "gain XP 50% slower"?
3. Maybe increase combat strength of Rider to fit UA? 22 maybe?
