How to Throw Held Items

Learn how to throw items to play basketball, bowling, or the ball toss game!

Step 1:

Hold "E" (default) to pick up an item.

"E" is the defualt "Interact" key on the keyboard. For Xbox controllers, this is "A" by default. On PlayStation controllers, this is "X" by default.

Step 2:

Hold "R" (default) to charge up throw.

"R" is the defualt "Reload" key on the keyboard. For Xbox controllers, this is "X" by default. On PlayStation controllers, this is "Square" by default.

Step 3:

Release "R" (default) key to throw.

Conclusion

That's it! This feature was slipped into an update awhile ago, but I didn't see any guides on here about it. So, I made this one. You can use this feature to play basketball, bowling, or the ball toss game. You can also use it to throw gnomes at passersby. It's up to you whether you use this power for good or for evil.

Grrr... I can't fiind the one place that talked about throw speed, there is a way to change the Max Thrown speed...

over 1000 hours of gameplay and i learned that you can throw things into a basketball hoop from this guide and later from Nuka World
