Descriere
This mod fixes culture for African and Arabian factions

THIS MOD IS PATCH-17 COMPATIBLE ONLY
To switch to 'Patch-17': Go to your Steam page and then select LIBRARY. Right click on your game 'ROME II' on the left. Go to properties. Select BETAS in the pop-up screen. In here you can select 'patch_17'.

Ever wondered why Arabian and African factions never become a threat?
That is because they can only build eastern temples, which convert to the wrong religion. The more they construct these temples, the more unhappiness will follow.
This mod fixes that.
These desert-nomadic factions can now build temples which convert to their religion and can no longer build the wrong temples.

This mod is savegame compatible, but does not work for Divide et Impera (they use another build line)

From what I've tested, I concluded that African/Arabian factions were not able to build or upgrade *anything* without this fix (when using patch 17). FYI this mod is fine as is, it requires no update. But when you do I'd like to suggest to rename the 1st level Shrine to Mastaba :-)

hello, I would like to know when you roughly update this mod?
REGNATOR  [autor] 2 iul. 2018 la 1:30
I suppose this mod is of little use with the latest patch, since CA finally realised that these cultures were compromised and they gave them a new building chain

No, it seems like CA finally gave the right religion to the dessert nomadic tribes. This mod should be longer needed when you play the newest patch. However, when you choose to play with "patch-17" (older version of the game), then this mod does give it's effect.

So it has been updated? Does that mean that all "Desert Nomadic" factions' temples (that is, those who had not been released in the latest Desert Kingdoms DLC) now spread their proper culture?

Please, if you find time updating this would be awesome.

I'll take a look at it

Hello, may I ask whether this mod will be updated in the wake of the "Desert Kingdoms" DLC and its patch? Thank you
REGNATOR  [autor] 24 ian. 2018 la 11:46
Apparently, since the update to the 'Aurelian campaign', the amount of mods in the mod manager is reduced, so that modders are even more limited (I cannot delete mods I provide, and since I have to provide both 'patch_17 and the newest patch, like all other 'modders' I am forced to choose to 'update' mods unitil my "cap" is reached. I am most certainly willing to update this mod, but in the mean time, you can try to play "patch-17". To switch to 'Patch-17': Go to your Steam page and then select LIBRARY. Right click on your game 'ROME II' on the left. Go to properties. Select BETAS in the pop-up screen. In here you can select 'patch_17'. I have yet to figure out what cultural stress is going on in the 'Aurelian campaing' (too much work on making my other mods compatible). If there is an issue about that, I'm willing to fix this, but I'm counting on others to tell me about (working very hard on other mods, right now
