2012 - London Victoria & St Pancras to Faversham and Sheerness

Patch File for Route - Needs route to be downloaded first (via Subscribe)

(Reason for patch - the route is listed as final and can't be updated any further)

  • Issue with AI collision at Faversham on Northbound Quick Drive scenario
  • Issue with Missing Track Texture north of Ebbsfleet (just before tunnel)
  • Signal on Track at Ebbsfleet (this one was copied from London to Faversham)

2012 - Description

This route merges Chatham Main Line to London to Faversham and the Sheerness on Sea Branch routes, this version is set in 2012 so will have the original Rochester and Gravesend stations present, as well as the Rainham Station without a bay platform. This route would be suitable for BR Blue / Grey to current Southeastern although not as good for 2015 onwards where stations and track has been changed more recently. (although earlier than Southeastern may look out of place with Southeastern signage everywhere though - but would work better on the 2012 route than the 2016 one :) )

I know people are going to make suggestions for extensions and routes to join, I do have some planned but only have a finite time in free time, so may not be able to do most requests unfortunately. (PS if you suggest a 100 mile route for me, I would have to say no)

For those that want a route with New Gravesend, Rochester and Rainham please go here - 2016 Version
  • Some quick drives may not work
  • Route should be complete

  • 1.3 Fixed 3rd Rail Issues East of Gravesend
  • 1.3 Fixed AI at Faversham on Quickdrive (Southbound) heading into wrong portal

Bug Fixing
Both Routes

  • Improved Beckenham Junction area (Waitrose) - not the best but removed horrible warehouse and replaced with another warehouse - hopefully better.
  • Added Portal After Ebbsfleet area.
  • Fixed Quick Drive issue into Victoria
  • Fixed Red Light Issue Exiting Victoria to Faversham
  • Removed AI heading into Faversham on Quickdrive (Northbound)
  • Added more carriage sidings AI to quickdrives (where possible)
  • Removed Two AWS ramps for speed changes on crossovers
  • Fixed strange issue with Points around Sheerness
  • Added Church to Chatham Area near station
  • Fixed strange tunnel issue North of Dagenham Area
  • Other minor fixes that I've forgotten about (I only wrote this list near the end)

Notes - Can't add Southern or other rolling stock to AI because of how it is set up - if i add the route to the Southern / FCC stock it will appear everywhere), the Javelin is similar in that it would also appear in the wrong places.

    2012 -

  • Removed Extra 3rd Rail near Rochester (based on new crossover not present)

For routes you'd have to find this under quick drive rather than the workshop tab, or also under build if that helps too.

Ok thank you. I'll try and do another later as it seemed the first wouldn't upload to workshop

You can create scenarios if you wanted, I can't stop people :)
Craigals May 30, 2017 @ 12:57pm
can we create scenarios and post them to workshop or is this restricted?
Craigals May 6, 2017 @ 7:00am
Ok no problems. no harm in enquiring and thank you for your very quick responses
Danny  [author] May 6, 2017 @ 6:58am
Unfortunately I can't merge GEML to the North London Line basically it would put Colchester around the Swanley area in the North London Line so the route would essentially have two Stratfords if I merged them .

Thanks, will try it out and let you know how I get on.

Also are you able to combine North London Line with the London to Ipswich route too?
