News:
I highly recommend switching to Crisis Manager by NaK1119.
It comes with multiple templates for lazy people and allows tweaking to an extreme degree for everyone else.





Simple:
You can encounter multiple crises in one game.
One specific crisis can't happen multiple times.
Multiple crises can't happen at the same time.
The mod doesn't force all crises in one game it only makes it a thing that CAN happen.

Detailed:
By default only a single crisis can occur per game. If the AI Rebellion is triggered, then the Prethoryn Swarm will never invade and vice versa. This restriction still exists in 2.1, simply search for "has_global_flag = galactic_crisis_happened" in the "crisis_trigger_events.txt" file.
This mod replaces this general flag with one for each specific crisis and a "galactic_crisis_happening" flag, which makes it possible that each crisis happens in one game, one after another.

As long as they don't rework the crises system in any drastic way I can and will update the mod without much work.

I like this mod, because it's simple, and because it sounds well suited to MP games.

That Crisis Manager mod. It sounds as if it has all sorts of knobs that you can tweak during play. What if one of the other players randomly tweaks some of those, without telling others? While assuming that he's not doing something he's not supposed to do?

Nah. I *really* hope you'll keep maintaining this mod.

As per your suggestion I will be trying the Crisis Manager mod, but I wanted to say thank you as I got a lot of fun and a lot of mileage out of this mod. Thanks.

I enabled the mod after the first crisis had been triggered. But even after disabling the mod, and going back to saves from before I installed the mod, the multiple crisis' still trigger. But its no biggie. I joined a federation and together WE SHALL PREVAIL! (or die. we'll see)

As soon as you disable the mod only one crisis can happen.
If at least one crisis already started no more will start.
If multiple have alreqady triggered there is nothing I can do about it.
The important line is 23 "has_global_flag = galactic_crisis_happened" which I commented out, I still set this flag when a crisis starts so it should work just fine when it's no longer out-commented.

What lines of code would I need to change to undo this mod's changes?

Can you please make a simple mod to undo the changes made by this mod? I wasn't aware that it would apply itself to all prior saves as well. Id like to use it in the future in my game, but not immediately. The unbidden are spawning at the same time as the contingency and its a bit too much for me to handle.

@Fixxel I'm having the same issue I think. The Unbidden spawned before mid-game, but this was due to another mod which triggers their event upon creation of a megastructure. I also modified the crisis start times +50 years, and I'm currently at 2379 (with mid-game set to 2350). It may be too early to tell but, still haven't had a mid-game crisis start :/

I never said they didn't happen I said they happened twice. And no it wasn't the ferals. I got ALL the crisis, but scourge came twice.
