Seduce Anyone

Description
This mod allows you to seduce people that are of an opposite religion

You can now also seduce anyone regardless of gender or orientation.

7/14/2017 --- Just released an update that should add compatibility with mods that affect the seduce decision in their own way.

A little unexpected side effect is that you'll have two seduce decisions. The modded decision says (Seduce anyone decision) after the seduction targets name.

9/21/2019 -- I believe I fixed an issue where the mod was not working for people. The error seemed to have been a non-functional .mod file. So I hope it works fine now.

7/2/2020 -- Finally got around to adding in a game rule for enabling or disabling ai homosexuality(should block the ai's decision if I programmed the conditional block correctly).

what do you mean by "Add the #'d statement"? I'm not following your directions on how to disable it for the ai

Apologies, the ai = no line should go somewhere in from_potential

You'll have to edit the files. You can do this by going to the Paradox Interactive folder in your documents. Then ck2/mods. You can either unzip the seduceany1.zip, or just use winrar to make changes to the files directly in there.

Once you're in the zip, simply maneuver to the decisions folder, open seduce_decision.txt

scroll down until you see

potential = {
age >= 12
NOT = { character = FROM }
ai = no #Should make it so only players are able to use this decision
}

Add the #'d statement and you should be good to go.

An important little detail, if you unzipped it, and rather would leave it in a folder, you have to edit the seduceany1.mod file with a text editor(notepad++ or notepad).

This is what's in the .mod

name="Seduce Anyone"
archive="mod/seduceany1.zip"

Change the archive to path, and remove the .zip ending.

should look like this.

name="Seduce Anyone"
path="mod/seduceany1"

Good luck and have fun

Yep, any changes I do render the mod not functional. Can you send that Oh Lord variant you have instead? Thank you

bro, what painting is that one lmfao
I have genuine curiosity about the origin and story.

It didn't work in what way? The name didn't change or it stopped working completely?

It worked fine for me when I went and changed it to say Oh Lord instead of seduce anyone decision

seduce_mod_decision_named;Seduce [Root.GetFirstName] !!! I changed only this part here -> (seduce anyone decision) <--End of Change!!! ; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;x

Know this is kind of dead thread, but...

I noticed the same thing actually. Instinctively, I went and edited the seducany1.zip and left that file compressed as a zip and as a folder out, no change. I also tried renaming the bit which in the .csv was called (seduce anyone decision) and that didn't work either. Very weird indeed.

The strangest bit is uh....I actually recall doing this in the past with this mod and it working. How or what I did differently if anything I have no clue.
