King Edward II in the Dales

Description
A scenario for the Settle to Carlisle line.
Just imagine that King Edward II has finally gained approval to run on the main line. You can take it for a drive on the Settle to Carlisle line from Appleby to Ribblehead stopping at all stations. It is a tight timetable and you will have to drive close to the 60mph limit all the way to keep on time. Enjoy the ride with spectacular scenery and watch for other passing trains.
Locomotive: GWR King Edward II BR Blue.
Duration: 50 minutes.
Requirements:
- Settle to Carlisle.
- Riviera Line in the Fifties.
- Weardale and Teesdale Railway.
- Western Lines of Scotland, The Port Road.

(May - 2023). Nicely done, ran OK with no problems at all. I think it would have been better still with a timetable to run to.

Many thanks for sharing this excellent scenario, The King Edward is fast becoming one of my favourite locos on Train simulator.

Hi Truthseeker. It sounds like there may be an issue with different versions of the route. Strange that nobody else has reported any problems. Anyway I'm sorry it is not working for you but thanks for trying.

I should, I haven't made any changes to the route myself. I do however still have the 1980s Settle to Carlisle that was on the workshop last year. I'd find it odd if that is a causing an issue though as that is a separate route, however one of the differences to that route from the original is different sidings at Appleby.

All of the tracks were underneath the rolling stock though while they were freaking out though.

Hi Truthseeker. Do you have a completely unaltered version of the Settle to Carlisle route? The problem you describe sounds like the tracks may have been altered thus the loco is derailed right from the start.

It occurs immediately upon loading the scenario. I can see at least the locomotive and tender render, as well as a string of coaches and a string of freight cars I definitely own all the assets you list in the description and I get no message that I don't. Maybe the tender got flipped around in the download or something.

I'm not particularly inclined to try chasing the problem down, I just figured I leave a message to alert people that there might be an issue with the scenario, though it's entirely possible it's all on my end.

Hello Truthseeker. Very strange but nothing surprises me with this simulator. I don't have a solution except to carefully check that you have all the required assets. Does this happen right at the start? There are 154 current subscribers so it must be working for them.

Loaded the scenario three times, got the same message three times as everything freaked out. "Player Train Derailed."

Locomotive everything from falling throught the world to summersalts.
