hey i was just curious, i recently finished the game and wanted to go back to get the stuff i missed. When selecting a chapter in the chapter select from the menu it warns that it will delete previously saved data. Does that mean it will delete the data from the chapter only or literally all the data from then onward?

YES! there's one exactly the same, but it's a mistake, in smelling and regurgitating, after the cat has hoped you have as many lives as him, before you hop on the mushroom to get to the next area, there's a bottle on a platform connected by a pathway. It's to the side and easily missed, but the purple flower should give you a hint (don't go past it, go back a little way).
