EricJ Helicopter Pack

Description
RC123
- Removed my Radar/IR entries for the MH-67/80, after realizing it was bigger for the -67, and the same values for the -80
- MH-92s now have an Inflight Refueling Probe, compatible with the USAF Mod

The mod mainly features UH-60 helicopters, and features variants for the US Arrny, US Navy, and 160th SOAR. It should be noted that they are ported A2 models from the massive A2 Samples and done with some additional updates for A3. It also features a ducted fan attack helicopter, and variants for the US Army, and 160th SOAR as well. It also comes with a UAV designed for attack and cargo missions, as well as civilian and transport versions. Also featured are liftable cargo containers (within reason) for the helicopters, similar to the Helicopter DLC cargo containers, but lighter to allow a wide variety of modded and vanilla helicopters to use. Works with (but doesn't require) The USAF Mod (for the inflight refuelling capability) and ACE3 (missile guidance and medical, and fast roping).

I think it was 2.16 or earlier that caused this. It's I think because of the Reaction Forces CDLC that messed the doors up. I haven't made any effort to make them closed though, as it's a known issue and every time I bring it up I get crickets. So maybe I should keep them closed as I don't think they will allow then to fix that issue, even though I brought it up in the Feedback Tracker.

Hey there!
Thank you for you're response, i understand and appreciate it.
Thanks for implementing the civ Hawk skins. :steamhappy:
I did notice recently a new bug, the side doors only slide open halfway, however i can't tell with which latest update it came.
Have a nice day!

Also King-Moh for the cargo I don't know any configurations with the cargo version. I guess it's more or less like the S-94 Utility. I mean I can model a box in there, but I would think IGILoad (a script that's been out for years, don't know if it is updated as I haven't been on the site in a while). But if it's open doors then you can probably use it. But I would also have to get with the IGILoad team to effect this setup. The best I can do is look into liveries for the Blackhawk, and work on an S-70 utility and the like, but the firefighting thing is too niche for a combat game. You're better off using the Reaction Forces CDLC for that function.

Wow. I have no plans for civilian stuff. I don't know the mod you speak so I don't know if the skins are usable with my helos or not. So I'd have to look up that mod and guess maybe if they're usable, even though he may not give me permission to use them. As for the Firehawk, with the Reaction Forces CLDC, I would have to make it dependent for any sense of firefighting, and I'm (other than help and the like) the only one who does all of the work. No, given the limited roles of the Civilian side, I don't feel like doing any work except for onesies like the Hawk and such, because it had a cargo capacity and I thought it would fit nicely with an IDAP role. I mean I could change my opinion sometime later on, but I just don't have a team and finding people is a bitch for me to have any capability to make it fire fight and the like, and I don't want my helos to be dependent on the CLDC for just one helicopter, and so on.

Hey There!
As i wrote a while ago, you're doing an amazing job with this mod and its continuing updates.
Love the 160th birds :steamhappy:

I've been using Jokers006s Medium Helicopter Mods in conjuction with yours for years now.
With the Blackhawks IRL entering civil aviation more each year (i.e. EMS, Firefighting, Rescue, Cargo) and replacing remaing H-1s, Civil H-60s would complement this mod great.

- Jokers civilian skins are taken from ToH, would they be adaptable to your H-60s?
- IDAP Utility and civ SAR versions of your H-60 & H-92s are on my mind aswell, maybe a Firehawk too ;).
- You have a civ white "UH-92 Cargo", the cabin is big enough to carry i.e. the vanilla Supply Box or two Cargo Nets. Is it possible to add that function?

Have a nice weekend!

I actually thought about it, but decided against it. I mean the AH-96 is where it's at for the most part, but a version based on the Apache doesn't seem to excite me much, even though I'm former US Army.
Spartan 208 Oct 17 @ 12:50pm
Hey @EricJ, consider the following: taking the AH-96 Coyote, but instead of using the AH-1Z Cobra as the base airframe, we use the AH-64D or -E Apache

fair

Oh yeah not going to do the ASRAAM and Falchion-22 on the wingtip pylons. It's actually easier to select them on the wing pylons than go through the trouble of trying to adapt them, because of the way the pylons are setup for the missiles. It's no real big deal as the 9Xs should be good enough anyway, I know they're more capable than the BIS stuff anyway.
EricJ  [author] Oct 4 @ 10:14am
Well yes, and no. For me to use the ASRAAM and Falchion-22 would require some creative configging, but I can see what I can do in the future.
