BACKGROUND

Initial Launch 3-30-16

(3-15-16) I got tired of never being able to do what needed to be done with the vanilla water pipe and electrical cable system so about three weeks ago I downloaded the Ark Development Kit and started looking at tutorials as I dove into this engine for the first time. With that in mind, please keep an eye out for any bugs or issues with the mod and let me know.

WHAT WAS CHANGED

Created a new set of PNC Metal and Stone water pipes and structures.

Created a new set of PNC Power Cables and structures.

Intersection pieces not needed because bends, tees and crosses can be made from the pipes themselves.

PNC Pipes and Cables have many new directional options including 90 and 45 degree connections.

Horizontals more closely match the length of a wall.

Verticals more closely match the height of a wall.

Inclines more closely match the length and slope of a roof.

Added half and quarter length pieces for horizontal, vertical and incline pipes and cables with adjusted craft resource needs.

Improved the snap points on all of the pieces.

Improved the piece names so that you can see the important parts in the tips.

Improved descriptions.

Corrected the texture on the vertical metal water pipe.

Centered the floating text HUD on the Metal and stone intakes.

Increased the storage capacity of the reservoirs.

Removed the blue flickering light intensity on the power outlet.

Allowed the reservoirs to be placed on anything.

Allowed pipes to connect "from" the reservoir so it could be the start point of a network.

All pieces can be used on a raft or saddle platform (for platforms the intake will likely be too far from the water so you will likely need to use the PNC Reservoirs as your water source).

Most pieces ignore collision.

All pieces can be picked up. The pickup option has been moved from the default position so no accidental pickups.

All craft times reduced by half.

All new icons.

All pieces require that you learn the vanilla equivalent structure before learning the new engram at zero engram points.

Added Polymer to the electric cable crafting resources.

PNC Stone Pipes are crafted in the players inventory under Structures -> Pipes -> PNC

Added new structure: Work Table. Allows you to craft all of the PNC metal and power structures. Runs on gasoline. Crafted in the players inventory right next to the vanilla smithy under structures -> crafting.

Added new structure: Metal Sprinkler. Provides water for growing crops. All new particle emitter for more appropriate water effects.

Added new structure: Battery. Forms the base for the PNC Solar Panel and gives a solution to "How am I getting power at night?". Power Cables snap to the base of the pipe behind the pallet.

Added new structure: Solar Panel. Snaps to the PNC Battery. Renewable energy from the sun. Silent power that needs no fuel. Has a somewhat more intensive resource need to build.

Added new structure: Power Generator. Same appearance as vanilla generator. 25% smaller, 50% quieter and able to be locked and picked up.

All parts should still connect to vanilla parts though I can't see why you would want to.

@Luap, vanilla features dont have things like the sprinkler heads or quarter/half pipes and cables. I absolutely love those things.

In theory, the solar panel should deliver energy at day and charge the battery, so when it's night the energy is still supplied.

There's no real energy system in ARK. Normally, the more power you consume, the more fuel the generators do consume. I think I don't need to talk about Tek generators, too... ;-)

Can anyone confirm that solar panel and the battery give infinite electricity, day and night, like in my case?

Love this mod and have used on over a dozen greenhouses. All of sudden, though, the metal sprinklers have quit working. Metal and stone faucets work fine. If it makes a difference I play single player.

Mod work great but it could be really nice if you fix snap with structure plus structure.
