More Random Backstories

(edit 7-18-18) Ok people. It's clear that my muse has long given up the ghost for this. As such, I am flat out saying it's not getting updated. This isn't a bad thing, I've seen that other people added their own mods expanding this list, and that it still works with the current expansion. Thank you all for your support, and hopefully I'll get in the spirit to do modding again someday.


You ever notice that so many of your troops from the Random Pool share the same background? Well of course you have, there were only 9 ones included in the core game.
This mod changes that. Oh wow, does it ever change that...


So far I have added 64 new soldier backstories and 5 new ones for both engineer and scientist bio pools. These include the ones from Aug's discontinued mod.
In addition, I now support Configurable Birthdates by thegrimsqueaker72 ( http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=681764334 ). I strongly recommend that you get this.
There's still a few wrinkles in the code, but it's well done.

My mod is incompatible with any mod that changes the [Engineer X2CharacterTemplate], [Scientist X2CharacterTemplate], or [Soldier X2CharacterTemplate] inside of XComGame.int. Otherwise there should be no compatibility problems at all. If you have any other mod that changes those tables, you can manually input them in using a text editor.

From what I have discovered, you can only see an Engineer or Scientist's backstory when you first hire them from the black market. I am not sure if they are viewable anywhere else. But the changes are there.
