Resident Evil Zero Hard Mode Speedrun S-Rank

After the very positive feedback I got for making a Chris Hard mode Speedrun for Resident Evil REmake I decided to do a speedrun for Resident Evil Zero which is way harder on hard compared to REmake, word of advise is you should learn how to use the knife and how to avoid zombies, also don't use Becky too much because she is very weak and you will be killed very easy, also don't bother with the hunting rifle because its just good for using it against the giant scorpion boss but otherwise you will get a much better shotty after the train crashes into the training facility and with that enjoy my speedrun ^_^ cheers

Resident Evil Zero Hard Mode Speedrun PART 2

In part two of my speedrun we will try to escape from the train by using the security card, if you have trouble with the security code input here is the solution for all keycodes

36 - 3333333339
67 - 7777777774
81 - 8888888889

after that the train will crash into the facility, please make sure you conserve as much handgun bullets as you can because the centipede boss awaits shortly after you reach the mainhall of the facility so follow part 3 for that.

Resident Evil Zero Hard Mode Speedrun PART 3

In the third part we will deal mainly with the huge centipede which tries to rape Rebecca lol Anyway make sure you conserve handgun amoo and run past most of the zombies and bugs (I mean it you need bullets for the boss). When you are in controll of Rebecca dont even use your handgun just run and collect every item including the Grenade Launcher, it can be done without getting hit as shown :]

As for the giant centipede boss I recommend using the grenade launcher and 2-3 clips of handgun ammo and keep your save distance, dont worry this boss fight is very easy if you have enough bullets and stay far away from it, learn its paths and you will be save.

Resident Evil Zero Hard Mode Speedrun PART 4

The forth part is very long and all you have to do is to collect a ton of items. As always avoid as much heat as possible and combine the items through the inventory. Don't kill any bugs or Leech Zombies (actually we won't kill any Leech Zombies on Hard). The time to solve the clock puzzle is 8.15 in case you have problems with it, good luck and stick to your paths :)

Resident Evil Zero Hard Mode Speedrun PART 5

The fifth part gets a lil bit trickier than the previous one because we will be introduced to eliminators and in case you dunno what these creatures are lets just say they are mutated apes on crack xD Fun aside be very careful when you backtrack to save Rebecca because there are some poisonous spiders and zombies in your way, also we will finally collect the shotty and blast some apes away :D Good luck and if you pulled it off this far you should be slightly over one hour so make sure you hurry up because the timelimit for the S rank is under 3.30 hrs and this is hard mode so there no rest for the wicked !

Resident Evil Zero Hard Mode Speedrun PART 6

The sixth part brings us in the cellar of the training facility were we can finally upgrade Billys or Rebbecas handgun (make sure you upgrade Billys handgun thou because its more powerful than Beckies Beretta), also there are two Hunters in our way which must be killed and a lighter puzzle but dont sweat here is the solution :]

you have to light up the animal from weakest to strongest the order is deer, wolf, horse, tiger, snake, hawk after that grab the stone tablet and haul ass to the main hall and save your game because the upcoming part is very tricky trust me ;)

Resident Evil Zero Hard Mode Speedrun PART 7

The seventh part may seem short but trust me it was one of the hardest parts during my speedrun, the reason for this is manly because there are dangerous enemies to avoid including 2 bugs and 2 leech zombies (these zombies are annoying as hell). The main quest relies on collecting the last two stone tablets and to avoid as much firefights as possible. Please note that only Billy can play the piano in RE 0 duhh and Rebecca has to collect the battery. Good luck if you manage to avoid all those creatures in your path you should be a pro RE player anyway ^_^ also make sure you save after you collected the last stone tablet because the next part will deal with item management, a disc change and well a giant bat :D

Resident Evil Zero Hard Mode Speedrun PART 8

This is part 8 of my speedrun for RE0 Hard mode and this part marks the middle of the game. First things first get rid of Rebbecas handgun and get the grappling hook from the main hall or wherever you left it :P
we won't be coming back here and the handgun isn't needed because Billys upgraded piece will do :] (no pun intended) make sure you give all 3 stone tablets to Rebbeca and head to the observatory but dont insert the tables yet instead drop all of Billies items and go back and get some molotov cocktails and the rest of you items because after Rebecca inserted the tablets you have to change the disc to disc 2.

Anyway after you skipped to disc 2 its time to take on Batman :D just equip Billy with the shotty and blast the hell out of it should be fairly easy just don't waste too much ammo and aim carefully and you will be victorious :] after that go with the grappling hook on the roof and power up the elevator and leave Billy with some molotov cocktails alone in the first corridor after the elevator because some leech zombie will taste them in part 9 :D

Resident Evil Zero Hard Mode Speedrun PART 9

This is part nine of my speedrun and in this part we will split up and make sure Rebecca goes upstairs and Billly stays downstairs also we will deal with a very annoying leech zombie, take in mind its optional to kill him but I strongly recommend it because he blocks a very important route and getting by without damage is hard so I suggest you kill him by fire :D

Solving the puzzles upstairs with Rebecca shouldn't be a problem just make sure you kill all zombies which are in sight or block your way, also avoid both hunters and please make sure you resupply Rebbecas mixing kit with the red agent before leaving this area, its important for later on to mix a battery acid.

Resident Evil Zero Hard Mode Speedrun PART 10

This is part ten and the combo for the door is 4863 :] The reason I went through this without saving is because I couldn't save in a event later on as you will see XD Thankfully we finally get our hands on the allpowerful Magnum in the trolly and we will loose Billy :( but only for a short while :D He is dating some monkey now, deal with it XD Anyway, avoid the leech zombie and both hunters as you make your way down to the Umbrella labs, this is very familiar territory for the ones whole played RE2 and who didnt ? right !? ;)

Resident Evil Zero Hard Mode Speedrun PART 11

In part eleven we finally will meet the Tyrant and he is one scary dude with a big claw on his right hand and his spine exposed wide open :| DON'T run I mean it, just walk because running will make him nervous and you don't want him to be nervous lol Anyway here is the tactic, its not easy on hard difficulty because he can take a lot more damage as usual.
Immediately after the battle begins shoot him in his back with the shotgun or the Magnum (I recommend conserving all magnum ammo for the final battle thou) this will drop him on hes knees, after that take out the pistol and pop 3-4 shots into him and walk behind his back but take your distance from him, just try to repeat this a few more times and he will fall, just remember not to run and to aim for his back with a powerful weapon like the shotty, good luck :]

Resident Evil Zero Hard Mode Speedrun PART 12

Part 12 will reunite us with Billy and he helps out to solve a very annoying crate puzzle, its not RE without a crate puzzle after all :D right ? Nothing should stay in your way after you reunite with him just make sure you dump the magnum and its bullets near the forklift because this is a very good point where you have to return anyway to obtain the final keycard, so do it.
After you obtained the valve go alone with Billy and open the door avoiding the leech zombie and killing every zombie in the next room, after that follow with Rebbeca and reunite. The two hunters should be also killed because these are the last two hunters you will encounter in the game, at least if you follow my speedrun. The final room is the save room and I strongly suggest saving here because we are up against the Tyrant again in the next part, he just won't let go , don't he :]

Resident Evil Zero Hard Mode Speedrun PART 13

Part 13 is probably the most fun part in the entire game because we get the chance to blast a lot of zombies away which never gets old :D also there is the second fight against the Tyrant which took a swim it seems :/ Equip Rebecca with the shotty and blast him away and stay away from him as always, not hard at all. As you noticed the heat rises because we are almost done with the game, next coming up on our death list is Marcus the leech king :]

Resident Evil Zero Hard Mode Speedrun PART 14

Part 14 is just the fight against Marcus which is fairly easy if you come with heavy firepower, I didn't even bother to save before that fight because there is a type writter after that. Basically equip Billy with the Magnum and Becky with the shotty or rocket launcher and blast away, really thats it. After that make sure you re-equip with the goodies in the next room and save because the leech queen lies ahead and she is one hell of a ♥♥♥♥♥ :/ watch out for my final run against her and also lets hope I made it under 3.30 hours to get the S rank, coming up :] cheers !

Resident Evil Zero Hard Mode Speedrun FINAL PART 15

Part 15 marks the end of the road for Rebecca and Billy which means a climatic final boss fight lies ahead in good old Resident Evil fashion, if you managed to get here on Hard mode without advise you already know what to do but in case you need advice I will help out ;)

Basically what follows is a 2 phase boss fight with the slimy leech queen. Phase one is fairly simple because all you have to do is to unload your whole arsenal into her so don't hold back and fire all magnum rounds, shotty shells or whatever you have left till phase two will commence.

Phase two is trickier and you have to distract the queen with Billies undeniable charm lol Fun aside, you should use the handgun only (I didnt even bother with the shotty but you could use the shotty for faster results as well). All you have to do is to let Rebecca open all 4 locks so the roof can open up and burn the queen to ashes :] and for that you have to distract the queen under all costs and make her follow Billy and leave Rebbeca alone for her to turn the valves. Every time Rebecca releases a lock the queen will target her so make sure to pump as many bullets into the queen to lock on back onto Billy.

After a long fight and lots of shooting the final FMV will start playing and you can lay back and enjoy it ^^ also as you might have noticed I didnt skip any cutscenes or FMV for the last part, the reason for that is that I got the S rank at the end of the game and I truly hope that you will mange as well. yes just try to play at least 1-2 times through it to learn the locations of the enemies, also it will get easier once you know the layout of the game.

i did play this on normal and thought about playing this on hard. I order the guide book witch cover the gamecube version witch i played, any advice for trying this

oh this was done for the GameCube version on the dolphin emulator so no achievments no nothing :D

mhm this is not even so pro :/ it can be done way faster I believe but this is way back when I played this on Hard ^^ I think it can be done under 3 hours easily !
