You really can't see the difference? Make sure you do a side by side comparison.
I suppose it's possible that some people may not be able to tell the difference, but the change is quite significant.
The Steam version is extremely blurry and just... Ugly. However, the actual shot is very detailed and crisp.
Btw, Steam apparently massively dowgrades the quality of screenshots for some reason?
