Lydia the Nightingale

Simply put this makes Lydia (The Whiterun Housecarl) a sneak friendly companion. This mod adds a seperate class just for Lydia in fact. My aim was to make a better looking (Yes I modified her look as well, though I kept it with all vanilla skyrim resources so theres no need for add-ons and/or other mods), stealthy, version of the well known companion Lydia! The class i made for her lets her accel at sneaking, using light armor, and using a bow. Not only does it do this but it keeps her stats to a balanced range so she doesnt just 1 shot everything and not die. I have also added LEVELED LISTS for her bow. The significance of this, to all of you who dont know, is that you wont have to upgrade her gear all to often. Her Bow, Arrows, and Armor will all upgrade as you level so she wont become completely useless later on if you dont equip her with your own stuff. I just thought a sneaky Lydia needed a badass Costume to go with so I equipped her with Nightingale armor! The Nightingale armor i have her equipped with is suited for an NPC rather than a player, gutting out things like lockpicking skill and replacing with things a bit more useful for NPCs like greater carry weight and better marksmanship.


/ ! \ KNOWN ISSUES:

* Sometimes Lydia will revert back to a Hunting Bow, this is due to something Bethesda Implemented where if an NPC has bow skill a Hunting Bow is automatically added to their inventory. There is a mod to fix this, and I will think about talking to that mod creator to add it to this mod.

* If you are using "Amazing Follower Tweaks" you will need to disable manual gear adjustments on Lydia.
