A series of video guides (and timestamps) for all 19 sets of magazines in Fallout 4 without DLC; 132 books total!

Intro: Why? Also, What Do These Books Do?

Short answer? I enjoy making no-nonsense guides for my fellow players, ESPECIALLY if it's Fallout related.

For these collectible books there are 19 sets, with a total of 132 books. That's a lot to collect! While we're unable to read them (disappointingly), we do however get some amazing permanent bonuses when picking these up.

The Magazines & Books Bonuses
Now to go over the types of bonuses these provide. Each magazine/book gives a permanent bonus or stat boost to your character, and can be dropped after acquisition while retaining the effects, sort of like bobbleheads.

Cumulative Bonuses - Same effect, but more with each issue
Some sets of books, like Guns & Bullets, Grognak the Barbarian, and Tesla Science, give a single, cumulative effect with each issue gathered; like a 5% increase to critical damage (50% Max!) for example.

Unique Effects - Different effects with each
Books sets like the Wasteland Survival Guide, Astoundingly Awesome Tales and Live & Love grant unique bonuses with each issue; for instance, passive health regeneration, increased swimming speed, or friggin' flamingo lawn ornaments.

I realize this is an old thread but stated here is a cumulation of 122 mags when in fact, there are only 121 with the Grognak double.
I think he counted without mentioning it here the Something Special book picked up under Shaun's crib. How this book is suppose to affect anything I have no idea.
In fact unless his son Shaun was frozen elsewhere, he'd be long dead by now.
