Yoshi Coaster

I'm sorry I took it off in the first place. I had no excuse.

This is my most heavily themed project to date. The ride features various Mario-themed elements, the majority from Super Mario World, tho other Mario game references are present. I had toyed with the idea of making a Mario themed ride for some time but I’d been too lazy until now.
The station is at Yoshi’s House where riders mount their very own Yoshi (motorbike trains with added decoration), and then they’re taken through a multi-launch layout focusing on airtime, low banked turns, and the occasional close shave with an enemy. It also culminates in a twist ending that I will not spoil here in the description. In terms of intensity, it’s probably right on the boundary between family and thrill.

The ports/remixes are by various users from SMWCentral and the other music/sound I used is straight from SMW itself. None of the music is edited in. It’s all scripted onboard audio. The Mario and Luigi models were downloaded from the SketchUp warehouse. All the other 3D models I made myself. Also, please make sure you have both master sound and music volumes on for a more complete experience.

I was also kinda thinking about making another Mario themed coaster once I get more experienced with modeling, UV wrapping, and keyframes, since there were some ideas I thought about for this one but felt kinda limited by knowledge so they were cut.
