A meme from the community content page showed this mod so now I am here. Great Civ overall. Now if only I hadn't need to rework the UA ability to balance it out with the Great Global Person counter mod. But thats a me problem.

@Max - I'm glad you're having fun with the mod! :3
Don't worry, the Engineer boost is there! I had to do it with Lua instead of XML like the others.

Fun mod! I just noticed an error; in your xml file, you only give scientists and generals the 25% boost. Engineers are left out.

They're definitely powerful enough already, but thematically, I think it'd make sense to include Banana in the food bonus. Bananas are berries, after all.

@Karatekid1717 To be fair, Acken's Mod has a whole bunch of stuff that it overhauls, including some tile yields and strategic AI - it gets hard to balance a mod when it's combined with other mods, so I wouldn't fuss it too much. Still a pretty fun mod, even if the uniques are a bit passive.

@Voice of Reason: In which ways does that mod alter the AI's tech rate and growth rate? I played with the Botonist Lab's yields to make sure they weren't overpowered (which is why it doesn't grant Food to Bananas). Did the AI spawn a lot of Engineers?

You've made a very well done mod! Heck, I didn't know you have Pikmin music playing when playing as him stead of listening to the Civ V soundtrack! :3

CORRECTION: On Acken's mod Difficulty 5, the koppaites were 10 techs ahead of everyone else - they were still remarkably friendly and easy to bribe, but actually grew unbelievably fast. More testing will have to be done.

An interesting civ, although the music does get a little old after a while. The dialogue on Charlie is amazing, he's not a particularly dangerous AI and he's very easily bribed into attacking other civs so he's a pet favorite to have around. The uniques do tend to be a bit subtle because you don't get that many Great Engineers and the Botanist's Lab needs setup to really shine, but they're nice to have around. Superscout SPERO is also nice, but not gamebreaking - good for keeping an eye on the neighbouring warmonger or flying in to capture weakend cities.
Overall, the Koppaites sit around the middle of the power curve. Although the uniques aren't especially noteworthy it's a very fun AI to play with, or against - give them a go!
