Bypass the Game Launcher Window
By Aldodrem
I just saw how all the configuration/settings guides always told people to rename thier exe to trick steam into bypassing the launcher window instead of doing it the proper way through launch options. So that is what this guide shows people to do. This is how you can bypass the game launcher window and go right onto playing Fallout 4 the proper way!

Locate Your Fallout Install Location
Find your Steam Directory and than the Fallout install folder. This is by Defualt
C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Fallout 4
Copy this location down, you'll need it for the next step
Apply the Bypass
  • After you've found your Install location go into your Steam Library window than right click on Fallout 4 and Properties.
  • Under the Genral Tab Click on the button that reads Set Launch Options...
  • A popup window should appear where you can input advance text configuration options. In this window we are going to first place a quotation mark icon "
  • Now you are going to paste in your Fallout 4 install location which you had previously copied down.
  • At the end of your install location you just pasted in you will now add \Fallout4.exe" %command% (after you close the quotations put a space before the %percentage symbol.)
  • The completed line of text should appear similiar to this (please note this is my install location and yours will vary) "C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Fallout 4\Fallout4.exe" %command% (If you are copying and pasting the above please change it to your install directory and note that after the quoatation is closed their should be a single space before the %percentage symbol.)
Enjoy Launcher Free Fallout 4
Now you are ready to enjoy bypassing the stupid game launcher window by going directly into a game of Fallout 4 when ever you click the play button or your Steam Fallout 4 desktop shortcut. And you didn't have to alter any of the games files to do so!!!

@D1s7RuPT0r Yeah, try doing that then running F4SE dependent mods like High FPS Physics Fix or Buffout 4. At least in my experience, that doesn't work when those mods are looking for "F4SE_Loader.exe" and it isn't there.

i'll just rename my F4SE.exe to fallout4launcher.exe

Nevermind, passing %command% before the first command makes it null to the execution. If you don't pass %command% the whole field is ignored. Thank you.

Problrm for me, using this method, is my second sceen shuts off, bypassing this launcher as such appears to leave off custom configuration settings the launcher provides and sets them to default. Ah well, was interesting to try.
