Getting copper in Diamond City

Arturo is during the day in the Marketplace . He sells shipments of Aluminum, Copper, Gear and Screws. So if you need Copper or other material than this is the place to be.
Aluminum can be used to upgrade your Power Armor.

Getting copper in Goodneighbor

Kleo sells shipments of Ballistic Fiber, Copper, Lead and Oil.

Getting Easy & Fast Bottlecaps

So in order to buy these copper shipments or other marterials you will need bottlecaps
I have got a really easy and fast way to get a lot of bottlecaps without cheating.

What do you need?

Water pumps (A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of water pumps)
Generators (to power the pumps!)

Lets get started!

What you will need to do is place as much water pumps as you can. When you have a buttload of waterpumps just wait a few minutes and go in your workshop and you will see Purified water. You can sell each Purified water for like 9 Bottlecaps.
I get like 120 Purified water when i check my workbench so that makes 1080 Bottlecaps each time i check it.

Getting more Copper!

When you want to buy more copper or other marterials then you need to search a chair or something you can wait with. You should wait for 24 hours and if he didnt resupply than wait another 24 hours etc.

Kjeldgaard - Yes ! The water purifier has maybe be turned down a notch (I am dyslexic, truly cant tell) but worse csae scenario, you just fill another settlement with pumps and continue onwards from there :D Also, vendors haven't changed (Not to me).

actually, water pumps do make purified water, just not much of it unless you have a lot of them

I think it has to be water purifiers. Those things you place in water. Normal water pumps (those not requiring electricity, placable in dirt) do not produce purified water. Also, industrial water purifiers are more efficient, so if you want lots of water, use these. And then - up your charisma for selling (like wearing a neat suit or dress, a hat and glasses all with + to charisma) I can sell purified water for about 13 caps each.
