Boost your Slow Melee Weapon Speed (Power Armor)
By MikeRoweSopht
This really is not a guide but a tip of an observation I made while playing.

First Things First
Those who have used Melee weapons inside the world of Fallout 4 have noticed that each melee weapon has their own specific stats that make each and every one of them unique! You may have also noticed that you even get to parry melee attacks from your foes as well as having different attack speeds for different weapons.

Weapons such as a Combat Knife, Switch Blade, The Ripper, have a Fast attack to them.

For Medium Attack Speeds, these would be weaponds like the Machete, Pool Que, Death Claw Gauntlet, Chinese Officers Sword, Revolutionary Sword, Powerfist, Baseballbat, Shieshkabab etc.

And Finally you have Slow melee weapon attacks that are attached to your Heavy Two-Handed Melee weapons. Sledge Hammer, Super Slege, Grognak's Axe*, etc.

So How does Power Armor Help with my Slow Melee Speed?
Well Power armor gives you many benifits, such as, increased carry weight, reduce damage, and no fall damage.

There actually is another benifit to wearing the armor that I figured out. When playing the game, some players tend to stick to First Person Mode, (I know I do this all the time). But what if I told you while wearing power armor, using a Slow Melee weapon in First Person, is actually different than in Third Person.

You see First Person mode give you the look and feel that you are holding your weapon with both hands.

Third Person while wearing Power Armor, shows you that you are holding that Slow melee weapon with just one hand.

Heres the benifit of Third Person Melee Attacks: You actually attack faster. Making you and unstopable Pain Train.

I know I could have just skipped all the details and just said hey do this. I just want people to see where I'm coming from. Not to mention this is my first guide so I'm just throwing this all together. So go ahead and try this out yourself, just remember this seems to only apply to using Slow Melee weapons.

I remember when I first got the game and noticed this effect on my grognak's axe.

I was amazed that they allowed weapons to function differently depending on camera view. Still not sure if I like or despise that oversight.

I did not know this at the time because Fallout 4 just had came out and I had yet to get my hands on a ripper

Good to know, on a side note, and this may not matter, but the Ripper actually is ranked as "Very Fast" Since it's mechanically powered and whatnot.
