Now Lets get Right Into it!
Now Fallout 4 Currently Is having issues with People Having Framerates Higher than 60FPS
I For Myself own a 144Hz Monitor and Whenever i Try To Exit Terminals, I Get a Freeze.
Finally i have Found a Fix that Works EVERYTIME!!!!!

Step one: Get Bandicam [www.bandicam.com]
Step Two: Install Bandicam and Press on the Controller Button.
Step Three: Click on FPS Which is Unter the General Tab
Step Four: You See now FPS Limit, Thats what we are Aiming for. And Trust me.. It Works

Last Step: Tick "Hotkey", "Set FPS Limit to" and Set it to 60
and last but not least Tick "Only when Capturing"
Set your Hotkey to Whatever you Like.
Start Bandicam AFTER starting Fallout, as in 30 Secs after, Because Bandicam Has Issues with the steam overlay, If you dont care about the Overlay just start it whenever you like to.

Now you See Already, This game is now on 60FPS Lock, go on. Do you Terminal stuff.
After you are done Press your Beloved Hotkey and Voila! You are Back to an Uncapped Fallout!

Thanks for reading this Guide and i Hope you Guys Keep Spreading it to the Community, So No one turns into a Smoothskin.

If it worked for you Leave a Rating and fav it,
The Community Needs to See it As long as Bethesda is Not Pushing out a Fix.

Btw, If you dont want the FPS counter, Just disable it by Unticking "Show FPS overlay"

So I figured out a simpler fix, dont click tab to get out of the terminal, to try again. Just use all four words, and itll auto kick you out. Its not a complete fix but it is something to work with.

kinda fun how an AAA game with years of devs still gets this crap. but hey! we're on PC, we always get the worst and pay the most

It's much better/easier to just use RTSS that comes with MSI Afterburner.

The game shouldn't be running over 60FPS at all, at any point in time, just like Skyrim. Engine bugs.

Hell yeah, I was fine with 70 as I just wanted to play getting stuck in Vault 111. Didn't bother testing anymore, I will change when I get home tonight. Cheers man :steamhappy:

I just used nvidia inspector looked for Fallout 4 and changed my FPS to 70 fps max. Very stable and that extra 10 fps is nice.

I actually locked the framerate to 100fps since I have a 144hz monitor and I have yet to find a terminal that causes issues. And at 100fps I don't have issues with screen tearing and it looks alot smoother than 60fps.
