And also with 137 hours, god, any enemy on their own are simple enough but once they start coming at you in packs, shyt get complicated so fast,
Even now I dance around in fear like an idiot when there's a black Lich, and anytime the miniboss is a Dragon and there's not an uninterrupted vertical shaft, god its painful to deal with those things
Scrolls of need will always give you a potion; so don't use them if you haven't quaffed it, because it will replace the one you already have.
When you find the Conjurer (blue teleportation dot), step on the armour tile. It will always give you Karate Gi, Glass Armour or Heavy Glass Armour (DLC), which are all great. Rings tend to be a good investment too.
Don't be afraid to pick up Spiked Ears, but that's already a given. Anything that casts freezing spells really helps with Death Metal (but that can be said for anything too).
Also just saying bad idea to throw your dagger a lot. Unless you have another weapon in your holster, hold onto it unless you are trying to defeat a boss/miniboss at low hp.
