The Realistic/Simulator grinder

Watch me as I, a tanker by nature, decide to try flying in the air. I will write here what planes I got, what planes Im grinding, and most importantly, me opinions about the planes.

Introduction

So, how will this guide work? I will have three sections. One will have the plane I am currently grinding. Another one will have the planes I am using to grind said plane. And the other section will have my opinion on said planes I am using to grind. Remember, any help you have to throw at me is very well accepted.

Today's Grind (Planes)

I have to be honest. I was always a big fan of the Heinkel aircraft. They were fast and agile. But not too much. They had good weapons. But not too much. They were a jack of all trades. That allowed me, a young pilot, to not be so punished for mistakes. Now that they give me cannons and machine guns on the same plane, I really cant wait to use it.

The Grinding planes

He 51 C-1


A true classic (for me at least). It has the speed of a slug. It has the smallest bomb load of the game. It has the second weakest machine gun equipment in the game (first is japanese). And I still use it. Why? Cause its the only free plane I have in Simulator battle. The upper wing makes spotting planes in Simulator battle a Pain In The Ass. Any advice to counter that?

Bf 109B-1 /Late


My first Bf 109... From what I heard, it aint such a great thing, but it will probably prepare me for the next stronger Bf. Probably. I havent gotten many chances to try it, but everytime I did fly with it, the weaponry was too weak to damage anything.

Ju-87 B-2


Also a true classic for me. In my young war thunder days, I used to think it having two machine guns at the front and one at the back made it a superior fighter who could defend itself from enemy fighters comming in from behind. I found out the hard way that its just a bomber.

Bf 109E-1


Honestly, adding one more pair of machine guns isnt gonna change the fact that its 7,2mm machine guns. They are still weak as ♥♥♥♥.

He 111 H-3


The only real bomber I have here. Its decent. The small 50x bombs tend to miss alot, but it can still do alot of damage, since its 50 bombs (Correct me if Im wrong).

Today's Grind (Tanks)

Pz. Kpfw III Ausf. E


The panzer III E, like I explained in the first part of this guide, is a powerfull tank, with a good engine, a decent gun at close ranges and good at long ranges, and good armour. The only problem I have with the panzer III is that we dont change the hull too much in terms of armour as we advance through the tiers (until we reach the Tiger), which latter makes fighting with this tank pure rage as we face the mighty T-34. But no matter. This is Tier I. This is good.

The Grinding Tanks

Pz. Kpfw IV Ausf. E


The Panzer IV E... My favourite Tier I tank, if not my favourite tank overall in the entire game. It has decent armour, capable of blocking the badly aimed shots of new players. It has a very good fire rate for the gun it has. And talking about the gun, it has the most destructive gun for the tanks you will find. It can pierce pretty much everything you will find. It can 1-shot pretty much everything you will find. And it doesnt have the fear factor of the KV-2, first cause most skilled players are unnaware of the destructive potencial of this tank in good hands, and second cause new players, about 80% of what you will find, dont even know what to run away from. This is pure perfect. I hope they never nerf this amazing beast.

Pz.Kpfw. 38(t)


Another amazing tank, this one is better than its ancestor, the pz. 35(t) for going into higher tiers caue of the extra armour at the front, which makes ir a really though nut to crack at long distances if well angled. The speed, while not bad, is nothing to brag about when going against Pz. II, Bt-2 and all american reserves. But what we are all here for is the gun. It can penetrate and do a amazing amout of damage to anything that it faces. In my opinion, I think its the most damaging reserve gun. And it is a step for my ''Explosive tier I'' setup.

Panzerjager

This new AT sure suprised me. I have never been a big fan of World of Tanks, barely played it, but thats where I knew the Panzerjager from. In the beggining I though it would make a cool AT for War Thunder, and then I started thinking why they didnt add it yet, and I though it must have been a prototype or something like that, since WoT is a big fan of using them to fill in gaps between tiers. But now that they added it and I got off my lazy ass to do some research, Im glad its in. Its practilly a weaker Marder III, with less armour (not that that was such a big upside to begin with) a less powerfull gun and a weaker engine. But its still deep down a Marder III, so it can 1-shot enemies (if aimed well), it can penetrate about anything it will find (though I did have some trouble penetrating some russians tanks once) and its even more mobile and versatile than its cousin.
