@SupraMK4 I actually did read up on this. UY Scuti is the biggest star in the galaxy (as far as to our knowledge), however, the debate on whether or not it was bigger than Canis Majoris wasn't settled until after Elite/Elite Dangerous was released. Thus, we are left with Canis Majoris as the biggest existing star in the Elite Dangerous galaxy.

What about UY Scuti? Isn't UY Scuti slightly larger than Canis Majoris?
