7 holdings with Tribes(Pre Jade Map)

Description
This mod had to re-created because I have lost the ability to update this one!!!
Here is the link to the new one! http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1216263801

This is my second mod that is a reupload of my first because I made a critical mistake with my first that made it not work. So bare with me here, I am probably missing some very important details here still like information, legal rights, and the possiblility that the mod still wont work. I doubt this mod won't work though, the issue with the other mod "Tribal 7 holding" was the download size upon subscribing was 0.000 MB which meant nothing was uploaded. This mod has a download size of 0.510 so that means upon subscribing steam should download this ckII mod for you.

If you find any mistakes or anything missing please leave me a message because I want to get the issues resolved right away.

If you like this mod please rate it up.

Why would I make this mod?
The reason why I made this mod is because I wanted to play a game where every country had 7 holdings and were all tribal but there was no mod that did that at the time. When I tried to use a mod that added the 7 holdings and a mod that made every holding tribes, the mods weren't compatable and I could only choose one or another. So I first asked for one of the modders to make the mod and he didn't want to so I desided to make it instead and here we are.

What this mods changes:
- Just like "life is Tribal" this mod makes every country but Rome tribal
- Every country now has a cap of 7 holdings in it.

This mod should be compatable with every mod "life is tribal" is compatable with because with the creators permission I took and edited every file that mod changed. This mod also requires no dlc to run so everyone who has Crusader Kings II can use it.

TL;DR This mod is literally Life is Tribal with 7 holdings in every country.

Well that is the idea I had, in terms of getting started I would recommend searching the crusader kings 2 files in steam and in your documents folder if you use Windows. The goal is to find out where you can disable that one requirement in the game.

Once you do that turning that modification into a mod will be easy and a simple google search and following a guide on a wiki will help you achieve that as it did for me.

I may have an idea how to do it, but I dont even know how to start mod. My idea is to remove the rule that you have to build three different holding before you're free. When I try to build more tribes it says "you have to build three different holdings first" or something like that.

I also do not know anyone who knows what to do, I just have a general idea on what I am looking for, provided Paradox has let this part of CK2 to be moddable to begin with.

In terms of modding this game, it is not as hard as you might think since Paradox has pretty much written the code in English so any modder can find and quickly enable or disable a part of the game as they see fit.
It only starts to get complicated when you want to add something to the game like a new event tree.
The hardest part would be looking for it in the game files.

I mean this mod I made just changes 1 number and a few words in 2000 text files in a folder. It took me maybe 10 minutes to make the changes to the mod, the rest of my time was spent trying to make the mod appear on the workshop correctly, which is trivial if you know what to do.

An alternative to your wish would be to make every holding at the start of game (empty or not) to be a village or a temple. (which I know how to do that)

tbh I have no fing idea how to script games and have not found any sort of mod that do it. Maybe you could do it or ask someone who can do it. I unfortunetly do not know anyone like this

Not that I am aware of. Try searching for one on google, if that fails you can always make one. All you have to figure out is how to remove the line of code that stops you from making more then 1 temple and one tribe in the tribal stage of the game.

If that fails you can always settle with hard coding in a world where every holding is either a tribe or a temple. (Which is something I could easily tell you how to do)

Is there a mod that allows you to build more than 1 tribe/tample in one county?

I have come to my senses and realized how easy it was to :update" this mod without Trevor updating his.

Unfortunately I had to make a new one so you and the other 226 subscribers will have to resubscribe to that one for the updated version.

Also, it seems like the option to update this mod is not there so I may have to make another mod entirely and just leave this one for those who want it. (more subsribes for me :) )

I have no clue why this is happening since I was capable of updating "7 holdings" just fine, but I am not capable of updating the other two versions at all.
My best guess is that I can not update these other two mods because they have not been touched in years so they are running on outdated code and their original files were lost over the years.

Well I tried to update but Travis David has some errors in his mod (Not every Demense in it is tribal) So I am going to weight a little longer so he can fix the mistakes his mod has.
