Futuristic/Sci-Fi Grenades

Description
AN-M14, M18, M67, F1 and M84, now in a futuristic-style skin.

Each grenade has its own colour and rather unique type of glow.

AN-M14 is Red.
M18 is Cyan.
M67 and F1 is Green.
M84 is Yellow-White.
Molotov, unlike the other grenades, only has a glowing liquid. Imagine it as a "Glowing Space Jelly".
Not only that, it's rather special for the fact that it pulsates! More easily seen in third-person.
Also, from the outside, it glows a weak orange, while inside it is a bunch of randomized colour making in the end a "white" one.

No model changes, just textures.

Also affects World Models.

I really don't know how exploitable this is, if I get a complaint from a developer AND IT'S FAIR I will remove it. For now, I just released it because my friends got tired of being teased. Maybe some of you will like it or not.

Though I doubt this will work in "Pure" servers so it should be alright.

I just found out you made a change to the molotov on 6 Oct. So it's not the game update makes the molotov glow differently. My mistake.

Basically, I am reworking the default textures (the ones already ingame, to mantain by some degree the feel) to have some glowing details, trying not to use too bright colors (tweaked to be a bit less "pure", for example a more "gentle" green for the M67, mimicking a bit the color of the original text on it, or the white band in smokes/flashes is used as a glowing detail) and centered on world models only.
Up until now I am satisfied of the results, but I want to make the molotov liquid glow as I want to customize the label in another way (so I would use the liquid as the glowing part, to freely use the label for a totally different thing).

The similarity would consist on the idea of glowing nades only, to make easier spotting them on the ground, especially at night.

Thanks for the hints anyway, I'll look forward to find the way to reach my goal :D

It's been months since I did anything to this or even Insurgency.

The problem is that molotov uses different .vmts, not just one, so play around with them and you'll find out.

Last time I remember, it either had 2 .vmts or 3 .vmts, one of them was the liquid.
Oh and you also must know this; This "liquid vmt" is only for the viewmodel, the third-person/world model doesn't have one, you have to use one whole .vmt I think.

Besides, similar how? It sounds more like you're trying to just use this mod but without the viewmodels, which is fine by me, but any way to make this mod be known better would be nice, not just a "small copy".

Hi,
I am making a similar mod myself, so I can have the default texture but with glowing details similar to yours, and mantain everything only on world models (as I find myself distracting glowing stuff in the character's hand).

However, I am unable to find the way to make the liquid glow. Could you please explain how to do it?
