Description
It is the year 900 AD and the Carolingians' power is rapidly shrinking. The Kingdoms of Provence, Burgundy, and Italy are ruled by other dynasties, while the Carolingians are divided among West Francia, Lotharingia, and East Francia. Can you try your luck restoring the Carolingians (Karlings in-game) to their ultimate power? Or will you start as a newer, smaller dynasty?

Meanwhile, the island of Great Britain is divided among several cultures competing for power. In the East there is the Danelaw: divided into Jorvik, the Five Boroughs (in-game Lincoln and Northhampton), and East Anglia. In the west are the remaining Celts: Cornwall, Gwynedd, Deheubarth, Strathclyde. Wedged in the middle of everything is this are the Anglo-Saxons of Wessex and the remains of Northumbria. Finally, up in Scotland, lies the Kingdom of Alba and the Kingdom of Suðreyjar - comprising Mann, the Hebrides, and the surrounding areas.

Formerly titled "900 map"! We now have the Jan 1, 900 bookmark along with less developed bookmarks for 926 and 962. Small updates added in France and British Isles since Holy Fury.

In addition to the hundreds of new characters, assigned to their respective landed titles, the mod includes:
Several new nicknames for rulers including Olaf "the Brash",
The use of a number of previously unused titles, including the duchies of Hellas, Galatia, the tribal duchies of the Lendians, the Lettigallians, Tavastians, and others, and the Kingdom of the Pechenegs.
A half dozen brand new titles: the duchies of the Galindians, Sudovians, Scalovia, Hebron, Filastin, Urduun, and Naples; and the Kingdom of Provence.

The Old Gods DLC is required for access to the start dates (Jan 1, 900; Jan 1, 926; and Feb 2, 962), and Horse Lords is recommended because the mod heavily utilizes the tributary mechanism. In addition, as usual any other DLCs are necessary to play any religions besides Christianity or Paganism.
Not Ironman compatible.

Yes, this mod has not been updated in almost two years. We (the two original creators) have largely moved on. If someone would like to work with me on updating it, shoot me a message and I can consider it. There is also the potential to make a new version of the mod for CK3.

@piromanchic, I am able to get it to show up as a bookmark. I had to go to start a new single player game and then click "custom game setup". If you want it to work then you can try deleting it and redownloading it. Also, I have not updated it much since Holy Fury so don't expect too much. Most provs that were added in holy fury are ownerless.

@piromanchic, sorry for the delay. That's odd, I'll look into it this weekend

@piromanchic unfortunately this mod has not been updated much since Holy Fury. When you say it doesn't work, do you mean it doesn't load or what?

This mod should be interesting to play with now that we have an "official" 10th century start date. Looking forward to your update!

@FICS good! Do know that the new changes have really only updated France, Britain, and Ireland in 900 and 926, with a few minor changes in the surrounding areas.
