Iron Sharks to Pittsburgh

Description
Iron ore unit trains moving from east coast ports to Pittsburgh's steel mills were among the heaviest trains that worked the PRR's Allegheny Division.

On this chilly winter afternoon you have been called to run one of these trains from Altoona to Johnstown, where the next crew will take over.

Your train has the Baldwin 'Sharknoses' at the headend, three EMD GP9's have been assigned as helpers -- enough power to get your 70+ ore gondolas up the hill, but mind the icy rails and keep your speed up.

Estimated Runtime: 90 minutes
Difficulty: moderate
Required DLC: Horseshoe Curve Route, PRR Baldwin RF-16 Sharknose, PRR Wagon Pack 01, US Loco & Assets Pack

Awesome how the passenger train kept dogging my train for the last 10 miles or so. Certainly one of the most entertaining trips on Horseshoe. Thanks.

I'm a little confused. Am I supposed to stop with the Helpers righr at gallitan station to uncouple them? when I stop with the lead engine at the station(000/001), I get an X for that step.

A very good scenario. Two thumbs up for knowing which end of a PRR GP7 is the front !!

Thanks for the kind words! I've been dabbling with scenarios/activities since the early days of MSTS (and what a hassle that was compared to the RS/RW/TS scenario editor, lol)
