Fertility +1

Description
UPDATED FOR LATEST PATCH

A mod that enhances the main campaign by adding one more fertility level.

Climate change is a nice mechanic idea and does up the challenge of the mid-late game, but the entirety of Europe being meagre/infertile by 445CE is a bit much. This mod ups every province's fertility by one, and keeps the same number of climate change phases. This means that by the last climate phase the map will be a better mix of infertile/meagre/poor. This will make some buildings more useful in the long run (*cough* wheat farms *cough*) and still keep the incentive to migrate to greener pastures.

This isn't save game compatible, nor is is compatible with other mods that change startpos values (such as faction starting positions, capitals, turns per year), so be sure to boot up a new campaign!

Can you update please?

edit: ignore the 'rich' comment, I realised vanilla already has that as max. So this mod just didn't work in any capacity lol. I can't give up the ultimate fixes mod though...

Alas, I don't think this mod is working for me, because I'm using athanasios' attila ultimate fixes mod, which updates startpos values. I started a new campaign, and although this mod has changed the UI to include 'rich', however I can't see any province with base 6 fertility. Damn shame!

@mromt i can confirm as a user of both mods that they both work together, though i would also like an update as would a few others :)

is this compatible with Fertility-Increasing Sanitation Buildings mod

Perhaps you should make a version that's compatible with Terminus's Imperium mod, I personally like having more fertile regions and that mod is fairly good though I wish certain overhauls and such would work with it.
