RoboRally + 3D Figures - Wizards of the Coast 2nd Edition

Description
RoboRally is a robot race game in which each player attempts to be the first to touch a series of flags my maneuvering a robot across a dynamic race course. The game is for two to eight players playing independently or on teams. Frequently the race will mutate into multi-player skirmishes as those players who are behind use their weaponry in an attempt to slow the opposition. The simultaneous movement rules encourage clever strategies and counter-strategies as players try to second-guess their opponents.

Good luck, and may all the conveyor belts be running your way!

About the mod:

This mod is based on the original generation version of RoboRally, a board game made by (at the time) Wizards of the Coast and Garfield Games.

This is a really fun game that brings me back to my child hood. Do not be afraid of the lengthy manual, these games were back in a time when board game rules accounted for virtually every aspect of play and left very little to interpretation.

The game components were scanned from my original boxed copy - I do apologize for the weathering, but this physical copy is probably 15 years old at least.

Custom-modeled and textured 3D Figures!

Using the game's original zinc miniatures I created custom models and textures to give this mod some fully 3D figures to use.

*If you intended to use these figures in other mods you will be uploading, I ask that you please appropriately credit me, and link to my profile, or this workshop item.*

If you like this game I recommend you visit the publisher's website and look into purchasing your own physical copy of the current generation or other great titles by them.

Hey, so i built the game for my playgroup as a physical version and was wondering whether you would be willing to send me the model meshes, so i can print them for the game. Finding the models to buy is pretty much impossible here...

@latens I think those pasebin urls have gone down now, is there anyone who knows a fix for this?
Saynof May 3, 2024 @ 11:56pm
@latens This URL works if both pastebin URL's are changed to this for each model

@Strongfort Any chance you could update this centrally so that they load the right ones on launch?

There is a simple fix for the miniatures; update the pastebin URL to be; https://pastebin.com/raw/ ... (where ... is the original character sequence).

Is there a fix to almost all the miniatures not loading and only SpinBot loads.. However... it just falls through the table once unlocked.

Seem the 3D models are broken. they are also missing collider for the one that did load which is spinbot

@marmaid - great suggestion. Updated.

@Rhombus - this was the game my uncle played with me when I was younger that introduced me to cool board games!

Awsome mod. Thanks so much for this. This is the version my sons and I used to play when we lived together and now we can play again!

Thanks for the mod. My only suggestion is to make the Factory Floor Guides tiles or cards so you can use Alt to zoom in

Hey Firefly - I just checked. It looks like some update to the game messed up the seating. By default it's dealing to brown seat for white seat player... I just removed brown and the opposite side color seat spot. Should be fixed now.
