Spectra Technologies proudly introduces a new technological advancement for the cities of today.

A constant garbage problem among Majors grabbed Spectra Tech Engineers attention, giving birth to the Spectra Bio-Reactor Landfill. This building will keep cities cleaner from pollution leaking seen in the standard landfill, keeping garbage and smell in check.

Spectra Technologies recommends the use of the Spectra Atomizer in conjunction with the Spectra Bio Reactor For optimal garbage disposal. "

Current Stats v 1.3

Cost: 20,000
Upkeep: 400 ( Lowered, the building will use more energy to function)
Energy Production: 0 ( Removed due to being conflicting with the actual Landfill Attributes)
Water Usage: 2000 m3/week
Energy Use: 2000 KW ( Increased and reduced the upkeep)
Landfill Capacity: 18,000,000 (increased a bit more in compensation for the other removed abilities.
Trucks:20
Processing Rate: (removed) this building acts as a landfill now. Processing rate and Energy output was conflicting with the landfill properties in game, preventing it to work accordingly.
This building will require more energy and water as a trade-off for keeping garbage contained and your city clean. And will generate noise, but not much.

This is my favorite asset. The matching incinerator is my second favorite. I hate pollution in my cities. I have never had any problems with it. The only thing I would change is just to make it a tiny bit smaller (foot print wise) but otherwise an awesome asset.

This is the very first Cities Skylines asset I ever downloaded and yes... the rest of everything you built bullettMAGNETT. I am not able to duplicate the problem reported either on three computers and six games, but wait long enough and someone will prove it. Can anyone take a screen shot?
All settings and configurations are perfect with fire hazard set to 0 and resistance set to 20 so don't see any way there could be an issue with the asset itself... It would have to be the game itself. Even so... an awesome asset to have.

@MorpheusXII @wishfulanthony ; The building is working fine on my cities, this is one of the buildings that i always use and so far they have always worked fine.

Remember guys, this is NOT an incinerator, IT'S a landfill.

So it will fill up and stop working. If that is happening to you, then you need to empty it.

@wishfulanthony : Just to clarify, not one of my buildings changes the code in any way, i use the default game tools to add the energy requirements and all the stats. With that said, what you mention should not happen, it could be that CO updated their code on the buildings when they released ND, and that could be causing the bug. Cant be sure, please test out some other landfill assett to see if it happens too. I will test it out when i get home next week and see what i can do. Thanks for letting me know. :)

I'd like to write a concern about this building. As of late, when I install this landfill on a city, all of a sudden, the garbage production and distribution line suddenly goes offline that the other incinerators I place after putting this structure goes offline. It happens especially after I place one of these structures, in which the subsequent garbage facilities end up saying "not operating". Is there something wrong with this file that it overrides the garbage collection system?

[NW] Mortiseraphim that indeed seems to be a bug, but not sure if its with the model, never had a landfill catch fire before, i will make it fire resistant so that it wont happen anymore :) as for that patch of nasty burnt landfill. hmmm not sure what we could do about it :S

Found a bug (i think): I had one of these on a one way road when starting a newer city and the fire dept couldnt get to it so it accidentally burnt down when it was emptying to another facility (77% full). Now it is a permanent pile of burnt rubble that cannot be bulldozed or emptied. If only I could put a tarp over it or something :P
