In this guide I will show how you can solve the Murder Mystery.

Murder Mystery is a new side mission for Michael, which was introduced in the Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC version for Returning Players. Completing the mission rewards the player with 2 new Noir Filters to use in the game.

What is a 'Returning Player'?
Returning Player is a player who has previously completed the Prologue mission on Grand Theft Auto V for Playstation 3 or Xbox 360 and has played the game with their Social Club account linked to their Playstation Network ID or their Xbox Live Gamertag.

More info on Returning Players can be found here: https://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-us/articles/203495713-Exclusive-PS4-Xbox-One-and-PC-Content-for-Returning-Players-in-Grand-Theft-Auto-V
How to unlock the challenge?
The four messages and the body, can be discovered at any time in the game. However, after you have found the 4 messages and the body, you can only continue investigating this further after you have completed the main story mission 'Meltdown'.

I would recommend, completing the story, or atleast completing the story until you have completed the 'Meltdown' mission before starting to investigate this.
First Clue
You have to locate four different cryptic messages carved on the walls of various buildings in Los Santos. Once you approach the message, a background sound will indicate that the message has been discovered, you can also see the little spinning circle in the bottom right of your screen indicating that the game has been auto-saved (if you have the auto-save option On)

The first message: Is located at the Gentry Manor Hotel, near a pool. The message reads "Old Fred acts nice, but it ain't so!"

The second message: Is located at the Galileo Observatory in Vinewood Hills. The message reads "David Richards knows".

The third message: Is at the City Hall in Alta. The message reads "Fred makes cartoons for kids, funny thing considering what he hid."

The fourth message: Is located next to the Oriental Theater in Downtown Vinewood. The message reads "Ain't no mystery. They drowned her because of what she knew!"

Second Clue
The body of a woman, who has a bag over her head, hands tied behind her back and her feet are in a concrete block, can be found just off the coast by Fort Zancudo.

Third Clue
This part of the mission, can only be done after you have completed the 'Meltdown' main story mission in the game, if you have not completed the mission yet, you won't be able to do this part.

Once you have visited the 4 messages and also the lady in the bottom of the ocean, you are able to access Solomon Richards' office at the Richards Majestic studio, the studio can only be accessed after 9pm (21:00) in game time.

Once you have arrived at the studio, you should see a yellow circle near the front door of the studio, walk into the circle and you will load up inside Solomon's office, from here proceed to his desk to read the letter that Fred Quincy left for David Richards.

The abandoned mine can now be accessed. Do keep in mind that you have to blow up the door of the mine with explosives, so I would recommend driving to the closest Ammu-Nation and picking up some before proceeding to the mine.

Once you have reached the mine, blow up the wooden doors, and walk inside. After you have walked for a bit, you should see a location where the mine cart tracks lead to left and right, in the middle of that junction, you should see Isaac's body, walk to the body and you have solved the mystery.

Now Isaac has been added to your Contact list, by calling him on your phone, you will be able to enable the noir filters.
The filters work on all of the three protagonists.

The Reward
Once the mystery has been solved, two noir filters will be added to each protagonist's phone. You can now activate them by either visiting Isaac's body or calling him on your phone.

The End!

i think this is retarded. Everything, all the messages and even the corpse are in the pc version, even if you are not a returning player.

@MindKiller There is no achievement for this, the only thing you unlock after finishing this is the filters

If I'm not a returning player this achievement is unobtainable?

Can anyone with a PS3 copy of the game help me out?

I'm not a returning player.

If someone with a PS3 copy makes a new free account and gets past the prologue of the game on that account, if they send me the info to that free account I can link it with my Rockstar account and it will give me access to the content.
