The color-shifting effects shown in the video require some simple additions/enhancements to the Source SDK. If you'd like to see this hat with similar effects added to the game, use your preferred communication method (leave a comment, create a thread, send an angry letter...), to ask Valve to integrate my SDK changes to TF2:
