Description
Improved Grenades. Increased damage/effective range for all hand and underslung grenades.
Be careful with them! RGOs can now kill.

Arma grenades have always been something of a joke. When a grenade goes off next to an enemy, they often flinch and continue shooting you. After watching Dslyecxi drop a grenade _on_ a prone enemy, and the guy lived, I knew I finally had to correct this rediculousness. I have tried to set damages to realistic values based on military references.

The AI definitely uses grenades now. But I haven´t noticed them using them until yet. But they through a bunch of grenades to us when we are trying to come close to them. And they now through them very fast when they see you in range instead of taking their guns and wait for you to come.

No changes to Arma AI in my mod. I think Arma makes calculations of most effective weapon for the AI to chose, but I'm not sure. Considering I've never seen the AI use hand grenades before, I'd be happy if this mod actually encouraged them to use them. Can't say what's causing it for sure or not though.

Does this mod also affect the enemys aggression depending grenades? They throw much grenades now and it´s a bit strande when you get three grenades at the same time right into your face. I don´t know if it was an Arma update or another mod because in your description you don´t say anything regarding enemies using more grenades.

I'd love to, Archer. But Dslyecxi has stated that his grenade mod is only released to the ACE community. If you love it (as I do) you can extract only that PBO from the ACE mod and isolate that one. Unfortunately, I won't be able to offer it in mine...

Cool, but I wonder if you could reach out to dslyecxi / the ACE guys and try to get your hands on a working version of the advanced grenade throwing to incorporate it into here for those that would like it without having to deal with ACE?

40mm's are modified as well. They are significantly more capable than vanilla. To test this, try the Virtual Arsenal with my mod enabled and disabled. Shooting the clump of soldiers without the mod causes most to flinch, but enabled, they all die or are seriously injured. Arma is pretty wonky about their grenade physics and will not affect a unit if a direct line between the grenade and the target goes through any terrain. Your shot must have landed behind a small rock...

Can you make this compatible with 40mm grenades? I've made one land 3 meters away from a guy and he didn't even flinch, not even minimal injury damage just like if I threw a rock. nothing.

Thanks, this gives a much more realistic feel, because the vanilla grenades were ridiculous.

Hi, For sure, grenades are joke atm. Does this also change the damage of RHS nades?
